Santos Dipton Marte, aged 30, a driver for the National Dominican Watchman company, which collects and delivers money and other valuables, has disappeared with more than 10 million pesos.
According to the police spokesman in Puerto Plata, Colonel Jesus Cordero, Dipton Marte left his colleague, Antolin Lopez at a gas station in San Marcos, in Puerto Plata, saying that he had to pick up another consignment that he had forgotten. He told him to wait for him, but never returned.
The police are now looking for him.
