A dancer, Yuly Mercedes Lopez, who accused the merengue singer Antonio Peter de la Rosa (Omega) of hitting her, has admitted that she lied as she was jealous.
Judge Rosanna Vasquez Febrillet revoked the arrest warrant for Mercedes Lopez, told the authorities to stop pursuing her and set the date for a hearing on 25 September.
Meanwhile, Omega is still in jail in San Pedro de Macoris.
