The 7th Sabana de la Mar Sea Festival is set for 28, 29, 30 September. The event, which includes a traditional 14km swim across Samana Bay, is organized by the Hato Mayor Development Council (Codeprham), with sponsorship from the Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Culture, and the Dominican Swimming Federation. There also will be competitions in kayaks and boats, and artistic performances, announced Codeprham president and senator for Hato Mayor, Ruben Dario Cruz.
