President Danilo Medina and Alicia Barcena, the director of the Latin American Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) have announced that key ECLAC officials will be visiting the Dominican Republic next week to offer technical assistance to the government about tax reform and other economic matters.
During a meeting at the United Nations, Medina said he was open to receiving any assistance that would help to improve the living conditions of the Dominican people.
