Need Info on the Famous "PIN"

'Sup fellas? Probably should already know this, but when a chica gives you a pin or asks if you have a pin does that refer to a Blackberry pin? I know the DR still uses BB alot, but i'm not sure if there's a Skype pin as well. Just looking for a little info; any help is appreciated. THX.

yep, it is for BB messenger, if you do not have it, the Pin is useless to you.

I dont have a BB,. but is this the VOICE messaging ? ? where you can send a Voice mail and the other BB user gets it immediately.. I know The chicas were going crazy over this Feature around the Spring of this year 2012 .. Some even dumped their Iphones, went BACK to BB just cause of this Voice Mail . the beauty of it is I think it does not use up their Minues, they get like 50 for a set price or something ( prepaid) ? Im going by memory ,not really sure how it works.. Sure someone else can elaborate more.. But yes, the chicas seem to love this Voice mail thing, cuz they cant be at a computer or on wi fi all the time, but can receive and send you voice mails with text message speed at a much lower cost...

Tango is catching on BIG time though for the Iphone 4 users... its Huge.. Free Intl calls, with Video even, if they have access to WiFi..

I tell you ,some of these Chicas know the new technology better than some of us do, its pretty impressive how fast they are on the latest Cutting edge ..

Yeah, just like kids everywhere. They have all the time and aptitude in the World for distractions and none for generating income. That's why the vast majority of them will fuck for a living for as long as anyone's buying and then go clean toilets in the hotels.

I would think somebody would buy it, maybe not at a high price, but I would think the network would have some value, if not the only value.

Maybe true but I love my blackberry and can't wait for the Blackberry 10. With that said I do have 2 cell phones so I do plan on getting the iphone 5 for my other line. I'm riding BB tell the wheels fall off. It's just so much more efficient for me managing my corporate emails I rarely need to be at my work laptop. The iphone would be more for personal pleasure than anything else.

While RIM is just a shell of it's former self at the moment, there are still millions and millions of users.

Just about everybody in the DR has a BB, and they are still going strong. Blackberry's in the DR are used as a shared electronic "Bulletin Board" more than a plain messenger service. (Whatsapp is another biggie.) There are probably another 4-5 message boards that are really big here, but I don't have the time to follow them.

I know tons of girls and guys that have literally hundreds if not thousands of BBM contacts. (One cute girl I know very well, has a group she named "bixgirls" with over 300 contacts, and at least 20 other groups, each with dozens of contacts. Bixgirls are bisexual girls, that are always hitting on her.)

There is a plethora of websites that have daily "PIN lists" of people that want to be added to others networks. The urge to get lots of messages, I guess.

The downside is the flow of Bc's is the major aggravation if you are tied into this network, so I keep my contacts at next to nothing. If I add a girl, and she starts blowing up my cel with bcs.. she's gone.

Most of these users receive a BC message where they are one of hundreds on a dist. list, and they bc. it out again to all of their contacts, so lots of messages come through multiple times.
