Arrived last night late and decided to check out this new disco outside the Hamaca hotel. This place has to be the best disco I've ever seen with nobody in it. To be fair there was about 30 people in there but since it's so big it seemed empty. The place is huge. It has state of the art everything...sound system, lighting, tv screens, stage for bands. I have no clue why there aren't more people in here. They do let in the chicas. No cover charge. Small Presidenes are 110 pecos. Music is mixed. When I arrived it went from techno , to rega tone, to urban american (Rihanna , Black Eye Peas) to Bachata and salsa. Very good AC unit.

I've been thinking about BC lately. I wonder if this disco is the renovated version of one on the strip that closed for awhile earlier in the year. It was the place the hoes would go after the street scene quieted down at night.

Thanks for the up to date info about BC. Nice looking disco but if its empty or hardly anyone there, who knows how long it will stay open? I'll check it out in 2 months when I arrive in BC and at least have a drink there, along with the other places, and hopefully it will be more busy than it was when you visited. Were pros or chicas in there or just some tourists? Again, thanks for the info.

No this place is geared for the high class tourists, it's still very new and not everyone knows about it yet. El Batey is still King in Boca Chica and they are trying to take some of the business, plus Hamaca is trying to upgrade, and wants things to do for their clients, so they can keep the money, they obviously felt too many of their clients were going to El Batey and giving their money to them. I was at the opening a few weeks back (only time I've been there thus far), and it was the same, I was there after being in El Batey most of the night, with BA and a few others (we didn't arrive unitl around 4 am), and it was empty, but very nice place. Recognized a few of the chicas working there as waitresses and barmaids. As I reported before there is another Luxury in Andres, that is also very nice, but many of the tourists don't like going there, cause you got the Andres Tigures there, and they bring their nonsense everywhere they go, they can't get away with their Tigure shit in Boca, cause they would be tossed with a quickness.

By the way just this afternoon, heard about a new club opening up, tonight in Andres, and I am going with a few of my Italian friends, will report more once I find out the deal there.

Well dude who heard about this was realy talking about the new place in Hamaca, (Luxury) I think, so we just ended up hanging a bit at el batey, mucho chicas there tonight. So when I am leaving supposedly he heard from some others that there is actually a new place in Andres, and he wants to go, it was already about 2:30 am when he hears this, so I tell him lets just stay and maybe another day. Willlkeep everybody abreast if there is really a new place, close. If not no need to post.

I miss this place...the only thing I didn't like was the lack of a pool. It would have been sweet to build one on the roof. Luckily, the beach is like
two blocks away. Gutter..is Rincon restaurant still open? That was the restaurant on the corner across from the Europa.

Ended up going to El Batey last night and it was packed, wall to wall, and plenty of chicas, everywhere, can't imagine Luxury having that many people there last night considering how many were in El Batey. I hope that Luxury is a success, because competition and options are good.

Funny thing about Boca, besides El Batey, and now Luxury next town over Andres, has three discos that get really packed as well, of course I wouldn't recommend vacationing gringos going into the Andres discos alone, (maybe except for the one on the autopista el mundo that one seems to be relatively calm, with good security). I have done two of the three main Andres discos alone, but more often with some chicas. Lots of Tigres in those places, and if you don't know how to handle yourself and blend in, can see it getting a bit complicated possibly. I like them for a change of pace. They all have plenty of women. I am always amazed when I hang out in Andres just how many chicas live there, and most of the hot chicas you meet in Boca, on the beach or even on Duarte often live in Andres. I hang there everyonce in a while, maybe should do it more often, definitely will meet chicas not seen by many others.

jajajaja, yeah that little colmado does some business, perfectly located, and actually the place where Gutter Meat and I met, without knowing that either one of us were on this site.

I will often go there to have a beer and look at the sites, since it is on the corner basically diagonal to where Hotel Europa is, you are right in the middle of the action, as the chicas prowl the street looking for the next gringo. Sit there have a beer for half the price it would cost you in one of Duarte's clubs or restuarants, and as the chicas pass if you see one you like, you call her over before she gets to the club, buy her a beer, and check the chemistry without paying exorbiant prices. I like colmados, they are the Dominican way, no matter what town you go to in the DR, after all El Flow especially when it first opened was nothing more than a glorified colmado, why so many Dominicans liked it better than the discos up in Sosua, and was a great place to meet chicas.

Yeah this place just opened back up about maybe two months now, on the beach side right next door to the Boat House. From the time I moved to boca, it was nothing but an empty building, then the guy about two months ago, built a bar out back on the beach side, and renovated the kitchen, and restuarant area, from what I hear from some of the other ex-pats the food is good, especially a nice steak I hear. I haven't eaten there yet, but have had a few brews there with some friends at the beach bar.

I am almost ashamed to say that I have never been to Boca Chica... Coming up on trip 18 in 2 weeks, been to basically almost every town I have heard of, dont know why I never booked a trip there.. Punta Cana as well... I always looked at Punta Cana as the place tourists go for an AI vacation. To me, going to AI's in any country is like going to Florida to an AI, which im sure we all feel the same about that.. Sorry to go off topic or thread jack, but I have to make a trip to BC and see how I like it...

I only been once, at the Yayow-Q, but during slow season, there was more vendors and hustlers then NY's and plenty of Chicas.

I wouldn't do a 10 day trip over there or anything, but you can't go wrong doing 3-4 days there

I agree with what Boris says here, Boca is nice for a short trip, plenty of chicas to meet your requirements, but no where near as many chicas as a place like Sosua, unless you have an in, and know someone who can introduce you to some of the local chicas you don't normally see on Duarte in that case it can be a paradise, cause the local chicas are cool, will fuck the shit out of you, not charge you too much, and not as hardcore as you find up in Sosua. Plus the area is smaller and a lot more mellow than Sosua. Sosua is easy to pull chicas, but most of them are putas, in Boca you can pull some putas on the beach as well, but many more part-timers that you will never see on the street at night. In a true monger repetoire to the D.R., both places plus some more especially, the capital and Santiago should be included on the itinerary. Again just my opinion.


You know some guys who monger get fixated on one place in a particular country which is cool, something to be said for being in your comfort zone, I think those guys are selling themselves a bit short however. Lot of great places to monger in the D.R., Las Terranas, another one to name. I also like places like San Cristobal, and San Pedro and La Romana, and some other towns that never seem to come up on the monger map, but to do it in those places, you got to do it differently but it can be done very well. I am the type that gets bored in one place, I got bored with Sosua, to much ground hog day for me there, so I had to expand, not everybody can do it, some when they get out of their comfort zone, go into a new location with a closed mind, instead of embracing the challenge of a new place. Guys like that will hate anything new or different. Good for those guys, but that could never be me, I need new challenges withing my budget, if I had an unlimited budget I would be everywhere, but I am retired (with a fixed income), and have to know my limitations. If I was still working and had the great salary I used to have instead of living on half of that, which is not a major problem here, Europe, Brazil, Colombia plus many other latin and south American places would be seeing me, and so would their women, Oh yeah so would south east asia, but that's not to be, cause I like being retired and don't want to work really again, so I make do with a big ol smile on my face everyday, with what I got.

Exactly Jimmy, and I do them (love getting in the ride and taking a small road trip and see where I end up, sometimes I don't even know the name of the town), but if I mentioned them here, no one would know what I was talking about, so what's the point, so I try and keep it simple with what some may know, most still won't know, but at least some will.

Let them keep thinking there is a shortage of chicas in BC that way it keeps prices down and more avail to us:mrgreen:
Personally I don't know how many more you could want, if you are on walking street they parade by you all night in groves, and IMO fucking HOT ones yet less hardcore and less pushy than in Sosua.
Then factor in the Multiple casas that have 7's - 10's working in them..the chicas on the beach that you simple wave over or in our case in Oct the waiter would come to the table and say "this girl at that table would like to join you?"...I mean if you can't have a weeks worth of Fun in BC you have no heartbeat.

Did I mention you have guys like Yayow, Greydred and Mr. Happy all only a phone call away to party with.

Back when I used to go to DR with friends, most of the time half or all of the trips were in Santiago... A friend of a friend has a wholesale business out there in one of the markets.. (I always get asked where but I never know the area in Santiago), anyway, its been a while since I spoke with this guy and his family, but I experienced alot of real Dominican shit being friends with him. Including going to Colmado parties in Santiago where they closed off full streets from traffic and everyone hanging and mingling with everyone.. One big happy party, and just in case something got out of hand, I had his pistola stuffed in my pants and hanging out so people could see I was not one to fuck with... LOL now that I think about it, I am happy I never got too drunk or stupid to use it, or shoot off the lil guy in the pants... Yes, I can admit I may have been showing off a little with it, but there were plenty of tigueres out there doing the same thing... Met plenty of women out there just on the strength of hanging with my Dominican friend who knew a lot of people out there, riding around in his Lexus truck with the system booming, and just not being shy or acting like I dont belong...
