Im so fuckin jealous... I saw this on sosua news and totally bummed that it wasnt going down when I was there.. Frank Reyes is easily my favorite bachatero.. I saw him live 4 times.. twice in DR and twice in NY.. I got addicted to bachata when Nada de Nada was hot... There arent many mongers (from my experience) that love bachata as much as I do... I listen to it on the train going to work in the morning and always make it louder when a cute spanish chick sits down next to me on the train...

Thanks.. I never know what songs are hot till I arrive in DR and hear the same shit over and over and over... Clicked on the link and see some files to save... Should warm me up for the trip... Last trip all I heard was Teke Teke for two weeks straight... I know most of the tourists and whores seem to like reggaeton, at least a lot more then it used to be, but I wish it was more bachata.. I dont get to hear my songs unless I tip the DJ...

4 roses seemed real grimey last year, especially late at night... Also no eye candy from what I saw... Its dead in that part of town.. Doesn't seem worth it just to hear music I wanna hear... I never made it to Cuba Libre last trip but I will check it out this time around...

Back in the day, the strip was a mile long (well almost), now its a block or two... Times have changed...

No prob. It puts up the live concerts that a lot of artists do both in the DR and the US. Check out the Prodigio party in Mamajuana Cafe in Queens (12/15). I got a bunch of shout outs in his songs.

I have listened to a lot of bachata over the last 10 years but I have never heard of Joan Soriana. Very smooth bachata, I will be looking for more on Youtube.
