I been on 4 and I can't believe Korean Air isn't on the list the best I have been on. Cathay is much better than Thai or ANA and should be higher.

been on 3 of these, and i must agree..........................you notice how they are all asian, but one?Close but not 100% accurate - Virgin, Qatar and Turkish are not Asian Airlines - but 7 out of 10 still fairly accurate assessment of state of play in Y class travel at moment.

Whilst Garuda have made monumental leaps forward in recent years the inconsistency of their product should not see them ranked higher than Thai or Malaysian.

Where Garuda is a now a standout is with their Business Class product - serious quality hard and soft product and sometimes at prices not much higher then Economy / Coach.

i think you got it confused. Qatar and Turkey are 2 countries on the asian continent which would make both asian airlines. maybe turkey can split because part of the country is part of europe.

i would put Cathay above them both as well. i am shocked Emirates is not on the list.

Emirates is one of my favourite airlines, the food is good, the service is great and many of the flight attendants are hot and come from all over the world.

Eva Air should be in the top ten.

Virgin Atlantic are not as good as they use to be as they have made too many cuts to their service. When they first operated all their flight attendants were hot but now much has changed. They are still my prefered airline flying to the US.

Out of those I’ve tried Cathay, Thai and Qatar, I am surprised to see Qatar in the 2nd place, it used to be good but it has declined over the years quite a lot, both Cathay & Thai are way above Qatar right now IMO.

Emirates is way above Qatar right now too, I’ve flown with both, as well as Etihad, quite a few times.

If you Google "Worlds Best Airlines" Qatar has been in 1st place for 2011 and 2012. The ratings for 2013 are not out yet of course. I"m flying on Qatar for the first time from Bangkok to England next month....I'm eager to experience what is supposed to currently be No 1. Have flown on 4 of the other top 10 and would put Cathay Pacific 1st from my own experiences over Thai, Singapore, and Malaysia.

It is so true about the Asian airlines in general.....they make all U.S. and most European airlines look like shit. I like a few in South/Central America....i.e. Copa, Avianca, Lan.
