The new electronic scoreboard is being tested at the grounds, grounds men checking the pitch, painters meticulously putting a final coat to the sponsor display on ground. With reggae music reverberating from the public address system, the atmosphere is almost carnival like, almost as an extended hangover of Sunday night's opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup 2007.
