On the other side of the River Ozama in Santo Domingo Este, the Mansion. Nice house just north of Carretera Mella (not far from megacentro). Supposedly open 24/7 with theme rooms. Photos I took.

Casa Azul (Casa Rosada) now has neon lights above the large metal sliding gate for the parking area, might have a new name. On Avenida Paraguay just off Avenida Ortega y Gasset (north of Avenida Kennedy). Near Plaza de Salud. A few blocks away on Ave. Ortega y Gasset is Casa Theresa (tall, shapely, beautiful women the times I visited). Casa Azul I have visited early in the day, always had fun stopping in for a visit at casa azul (rosada) even if just to drink a beer (former Mexican Wrestling star who may have owned it previously died a while ago from natural causes).

Foxys and Baby Dolls are half a block from each on the malecon close to the zona colonial. Foxys might charge 100 pesos or so to enter which might get added to your drink bill, ask when entering (Brazilian babes in Foxys in the past). Baby Dolls supposedly open 24/7.

Casa Rosada is the other name for Casa Teresa. Casa Azul is a whole 'nuther club.

Casa Teresa used to boast the finest Putas in the country back in the day. Now it's hit of miss. but it's still the most expensive of Santo Domingo's casas. On site romp was $100 last time I was there and off site will range up to 7,500RD. The drinks are prohibitively expensive, I'm talking USA strip club expensive and the talent has definitely taken a downhill slide over the years.

I was told casa azul on avenida paraguay was also called pink house (rosada is pink in Spanish). It is about 2-3 blocks from casa teresa. Casa Azul the last time I drove by had new neon lights above the sliding metal gate. I don't remember what those neon lights said. Casa Azul I have entered around noon and been there after 3am, friendly chicas

Seems Casa Theresa opens after 5pm, nice house, with a bar, good lighting. Maybe the owner is a tall burly Dominican guy. Tall shapely attractive women at casa theresa, the times I visited. Girly drinks there, like baileys are probably over 400 pesos. Light skin, pretty, big titty chica, who used to work there is now at 305.

Casa Azul on Avenida Paraguay is about 60 feet east of Avenida Ortega y Gassett (major north south street which passes the olympic park where people exercise and play various sports). New ramp for Ave. Ortega y Gassett at Ave. 27 de Febrero, improves traffic flow. Plaza Salud is an expensive private medical complex.

Many years ago when a taxi driver first took me to casa theresa he told me the SWs on Ave. Ortega y Gasset were trannies.

If a person goes to the casa on Avenida Paraguay, whatever it may currently be called, if no one opens the outside gate, slide it yourself and enter, large parking area past the gate. (phone number might be: 809 567-7303, #230 Paraguay, from the Santo Domingo Monger map; https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&ie=UTF8&msid=106767774275556555984.00046d685b11334063b43).

Inside the BQ Princess Hotel and Casino on Avenida 27 de Febrero is Gold Fashion Dance Club, a normal disco that can stay open late because it is attached to a casino, I visited that disco one time years ago with a guy from this site.

Laundry day maybe, the chica at 2:05 maybe has no panties or bra, nipple seems to pop out. Smoking the Hookah.

Thanks again.

The owner of Satin Dolls has always been very nice to me, as has the long time bartender there and the bouncer guy outside, always get hugs from them. Owner of Satin Dolls owned the building next door (sky house). Sky House became Sky High after a remodel. The fish from the aquariums in Sky House were relocated to Satin Dolls. Photo in Satin Dolls taken in the afternoon, she is a lot of fun.

Pink Pony I have visted early in the daytime and been there in the evening, photos I took, she was a lot of fun (good size Banco Popular Bank with ATM machines, less than a five minute walk from pink pony at Lincoln and Nuñez Caceres). The guy behind the bar at Pink Pony, when I visited the first time, asked me what music I would like to hear in the bar area, stripper pole at the bar area.

I got hit for something like 400 pesos for a glass of Baileys in casa theresa. Sat at the bar, big titty, pretty chica sat next to me, open blouse, no bra, titties coming out, her hand massaging my dick over my pants, f_ck it, I bought her the glass of Baileys. A cerveza presidente is good enough if a guy wants to buy a casa chica a drink. Usually around 150 pesos for a bottle of presidente beer. (Miller and Corona probably slightly more expensive). A guy can order a small bottle of water in a casa as well.

I have seen amazon sized women at casa theresa, some tall, with big booties or big tetas or both.

In a nutshell, what is now known as Novo Centro was originally built by Ramon Baez of the failed Baninter Bank.

It was destined to be the world class headquarters of Baninter, until the scandal that almost bankrupt the country broke out.

The building was completed but never occupied, and finally sold at auction a short while later.

A few guys. One guy walked there from the area of the big three hotels, said it was a long walk. It might be on the 5th floor of a building, supposedly the owner is a nice guy. As one guy stated, probably next to impossible to keep a condom on if you are covered in nuru gel. Seems no penetration to orgasm (other forms to orgasm there). The sliponme place is the closest you'll get to what Mona Lisa used to offer years ago. A girl would give you a bath, then a 45 minute massage where she would cover you with cream, then half way through, climb naked on top of you and slide around for 5 min or so on each side.

it was very common to mistakenly let it "slip in" while she was sliding all over you.

They also had the prettiest girls of all of the massage places (there were dozens of them)

Afterwards, they'd give you another bath, then dress you.

All for 300 pesos.

I miss those days.

There's also a great massage place on the first floor of the Malecon Center. NO HAPPY ENDING, but an excellent massage and a sauna is available most of the time.

Maybe the sea turtles like a good party. Plaza Guibia gets a crowd of people some nights (food stalls with beverages, movie theater across the street). Probably some sexy women there.

SWs used to hang near the Isla gas station on El Malecon (west of the Hilton). Now they are further west, west of Lincoln to Churchill (Moya).

Plaza Guibia has free exercise equipment, supposedly free wifi, safe and secure, soccer and volleyball in the sand. Near the 4 big hotels on Avenida George Washington, Hilton, Sheraton, Renaissance Jaragua and Crowne Plaza (and numerous smaller hotels).

A guy could invite an amiga to plaza gubia in the daytime or at night.

Yes.

Near where the sea turtles were born is Vesuvio restaurant, nice place, friendly staff, easy to drive and park there.

Also near to where the sea turtles were born is Adrians Tropical Restaurant (I believe open 24/7). http://www.zonacolonial.com/wheretoeat/adrian-tropical

Also nearby, Dollhouse, next door to the Hilton, supposedly gets strippers/dancers from various countries.

3-4 blocks from the Hilton is casa de modelos, I was told when I visited, it is open 24/7. Low key place, might have a pool table.

Vesuvio is a kind of nice-ish, kind of Italian-ish restaurant which specializes in shellfish (what a waste, I'm allergic but Chicas dig it). Right around the corner from Vesuvio is the 5 Star Sports Bar which is the best place in the entire country to watch football, basketball, baseball games and when Liga Dominicana has their playoffs the place is out of sight, actually the whole country goes kind of crazy during the championships.

Adrian Tropical has the best fresh fruit drinks I've ever tasted and the view is very seductive. I went into the Dollhouse twice (since 2006), stayed 5 minutes the first time and 45 seconds the last.

Vesuvio dates way back to the Trujillo days. At one time it was one of the most elegant in town. They frown on folks coming in with T-shirts and sandals during the day, and I'm not sure they'd let you in dressed like that at night. It's not unusual to be wining and dining with some of the country's most powerful folks in there.

I'd be embarrassed to take a street rat into a place like that.

The Pizzarelli pizza chain comes from that restaurant.

I never dress for the beach anyway, unless I'm actually at the beach. In Santo Domingo, going out anywhere requires a button up shirt, shoes and big boy pants.

You've seen the kind of Chicas I fuck with. They've already been there.

Vesuvio is the very first restaurant that we went to on our very first trip to the DR back in '02. I remember not being very impressed with the food. But I do remember thinking how cheap it was in comparison to comparable waterfront restaurants in the US.

After we finished eating there, we went to La Remington Palace for our very first Casa experience. We were blown away, to say the least.

Great memories!

This thread should be a sticky. It's one of the most informative I've seen here. But then, I've been telling myself that I need to rediscover La Capital. Started out there 11 years ago, but have made Santiago my DR home since then.

Furthermore, I'm always flying into SDQ cause its usually the cheapest, most convenient flight for me. I'm gonna make a point to spend more time there.

Heading west on the Malecon towards the cabanas, they are one block past the Lebanese Social Club. Pass the Social club, then Thermos Envases, and they're next on the right.

I guess I'll have to take one for the team and try them out, even though 2K for a massage is a little preposterous.

These are two nice places to spend a Sunday evening.

Plaza Juan Baron, has more of a family vibe. There is a Merry-go-round, go-cart racing, bike and electric cars for kids to ride. Tables and chairs and places to eat and drink. I've never seen any problems there, cuase back in ol DC this place wouldn't last two weekends before some knuckleheads FUCK IT UP!!

Plaza Guibia has more of a young person hang out. As Jao pointed out the cinema is across the street. I've seen more teenagers there doing what teenagers do.

It'S a good walk from one to the other. My girl said she wanted to go to Guibia after we finished eating and drinking at Plaza Baron. After we made the walk she wanted to cab it back, I said naw, we are walking. She said no. I'll pay for the taxi, JA JA JA

Heading west on the Malecon towards the cabanas, they are one block past the Lebanese Social Club. Pass the Social club, then Thermos Envases, and they're next on the right.

I guess I'll have to take one for the team and try them out, even though 2K for a massage is a little preposterous.

The nuru gel is supposedly made from seaweed (non-staining, colorless, tasteless gel), maybe that gel is not cheap.

Over ten years ago in a massage place in boca chica (private home, don't remember a sign outside), at 3am I entered, chicas woke up, I chose one, went in a room with a small bed, clean. She started with the massage, then oral sex, then full sex (with condom), finished and I fell asleep there. Woke up to roosters crowing and daylight. I had been in that massage place earlier, they had like a book with different massages and different prices. The night I walked in at 3am a little drunk, I chose the cheapest massage and was happy.

Gracias.

Allergies are no joke. Near the three big hotels on the malecon and near numerous small hotels and zona colonial is Clinica Abreu, open 24/7 for any medical emergencies. At least one pharmacy open 24/7 near there as well. Clinica Abreu is located next to Consultorios de Visa (Avenida Independencia #202);

Don't forget Vienna Caribe, out on the 30 de Mayo (km 11) just before the Cabanas. They also have a BBQ every weekend with all you can eat meat. Obscenely good German food. (owner is German)

A few years ago I tried Chalet Suizo (Swiss Chalet) with a red swiss cross painted on the outside wall. Quiet the night I visited. Seems some nights they might have live music. It is located out on the malecon (autopista 30 de mayo) on the way to the cabañas, Haina and San Cristobal.

Abel Gonzalez is correct. That's the original AG clinic. They have an Advanced Medicine Clinic (read "for rich folks") on Lincoln as well, just a few years old.

You have to be careful with descriptions. The Chalet Suizo is next door to Universidad del Caribe, right after you pass under the Nunez de Caceres overpass and past Metaldom. It used to be an excellent restaurant, but now it's a dump.

What you are calling the Chalet Suizo is the Vienna Caribe restarant that I mentioned. The video is from there too. The pictures are old as well. The doorway where the girl is standing was changed to a glass entrance 2-3 years ago.

They changed the name a few years ago. I'm not sure why they are calling it the Swiss Chalet in the review, but it may be because that was the name of it when the old owner had it.

Vesuvio dates way back to the Trujillo days. The Pizzarelli pizza chain comes from that restaurant.

I just about always get a slice of pizza or two at the Pizzarelli restaurant on the first floor of the Santo Domingo Airport, before a flight home (before going through security). Sit at a table, eat the pizza and fill out out the immigration and custom forms. Supposedly free wifi in that area of the airport. Large slices of pizza, they also have other food. http://www.pizzarelli.com.do/

Vesuvio is the very first restaurant that we went to on our very first trip to the DR back in '02.

I had a great tasting pasta dish in plaza espana (don't remember which restaurant, one of the ones closest to Atarazana or on Atarazana). Cream sauce it was delicious, sitting outside in the plaza (I was hungry after drinking earlier at the hard rock cafe). I have had good 2 x 1 mojitos at plaza espana, zona colonial, sitting outside.

Georgina Duluc was born in Santo Domingo, photo from Pat’e Palo Restaurant (plaza espana) website. http://www.patepalo.com/about/faces And some photos I took.

I am looking forward to visiting Santiago, to buy Master Kelner cigars at the cigar store in the Gran Almirante Hotel.

You mentioned "CATS" over on Ave Gustavo Mejia Ricart (Plaza Uno) in a previous post. There's is a small yet surprisingly good Italian restaurant on the first level of the Plaza, "La Lasagne". I used to use the place to break the ice with Gata's girls and during their depositions I'd order up a little antipasto and mozzarella or pizza for us to snack on but after a while I started going there just to eat. That place is authentic Italian cuisine like the Old Country rather than the American version of Italian and they had pretty good wines which a lot of places in the D.R. can't claim.

We used to roll through CATS 5-8 deep at least once per trip and Gata (the owner back then) would send all the local Guys home, get on the phone and call up Chicas to our specifications. We always split the bar tabs evenly and I don't ever remember us buying less than $200-$300 worth of booze for ourselves and the Chicas. We imported packs of dollar bills there specifically for the Chicas who took turns at the pole. I swear, every time we went there it turned into a Batchellor Party. She left and moved to NJ and the new owner Elizama, as sweet as she is just doesn't have the same flair for an event nor the long list of contacts that Gata did....but she does have a magical Pum-Pum.

Afterwards take the side street west, you'll pass their store next door where they sell whole fruit. Interesting area, some colmados with people outside (older crowd). After about two blocks hang a left and walk down the hill. People exercise around the presidential palace in the early evening.

The owners Ronny Colalzo, Eden Mena Guirola and Marlen Llerena were arrested and the prosecutors say they will be charged, as reported in Hoy.

Shut down all of their hang outs, they still need money. Where else would they go.

Now we're back to street walkers.

In due time, bars will start to open again. Girls will start hanging in bars. Police will clean up the streets.

The pattern keeps repeating itself.. over, and over, and over, and over...............

The tall Cuban who is probably one of the owners of Sky High and Girls House, maybe he should learn something about customer service. The Cuban who was running Venecia maybe had something to do with the Cuban guy who runs 305 getting locked up over a year ago. The Cuban owner of 305 is a very nice guy.

Pasteur between the Malecon and Independencia needs to be cleaned up.

Three casas whose owners are Cuban and whose owners are probably not the nicest people, got thrown in jail. I ain't crying. Plenty of other places for fun in Santo Domingo.

That used to be such a nice area. Gazcue in general has really deteriorated in the last 20 yrs or so..

Intercontinental Hotels Group, IHG, who runs the Crowne Plaza Hotel (former Intercontinental V Centanario Hotel), is involved with the millions of dollars currently being invested into improving the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Ave. Pasteur and the Malecon. Starwoods same thing for the soon to be renamed Sheraton Hotel (former Melia), million dollar improvements. Renaissance Jaragua will eventually be shut down for about a year while it gets a total makeover. Hotel Shakey is a nice new hotel on Pasteur just off the Malecon on Ave. Pasteur. Torre Veiramar 1 is a nice residential building (Pasteur and the Malecon). Villar Hermanos has invested making their businesses nicer on Avenida Pasteur, located just up from the Malecon. New Hotel Assis on Pasteur north of Independencia. The police a few years ago, chased most of the SWs out of the area.

Nice place to play pool or hit baseball balls in batting cages on Pasteur between the Malecon and Independencia. Pasteur between the Malecon and Independencia has improved over the years. With the money being pumped into that area, the street will be even nicer. Getting rid of casa owners who may not give a shit and who may not be the most respectful will make Pasteur between the Malecon and Independencia better.

I have walked on Pasteur and in gazcue and zona colonial all hours of the day and night and never had a problem. An older street guy who is sometimes on Pasteur and the Malecon is a very nice guy, he is my buddy. Haitian family lives on Pasteur, they are nice and cause no problems.

The Cubans who own Girls House, Sky High and Venecia (on Pasteur) maybe are not the most respectful, therefore their removal from the scene doesn't bother me.

I enjoy going to casas and argued with people who love to put casas down. A bad casa owner is not good for mongers or the neighborhood where they are located. Some people may not have had a problem using Girls House and Sky High. I read a post from one guy from over a year ago, where the people who were running Girls House, were very disrespectful to him. The Cuban who was running Venecia, I don't know what his problem is, but at least two of the casas he was associated shut down (lapsus was bulldozed, then he moved to La Parada, which closed). I stayed across the street from Venecia, before it was there and when it was open, it was creating a bit of a nuisance.

There are million dollar casas in Gazcue, nice apartments in Gazcue and numerous businesses (doctors offices, related medical facilities etc). 305 and Satin Dolls I would recommend over Girls House, Sky High and Venecia. 305 and Satin Dolls have better owners.

I think that Danny (the Venecia/ Lapsus/ La Parada nephew) is on some serious drugs. I also think that he's into a lot more nefarious activity than those casas. I've talked with him a few times and I get the bad vibe undercurrent.

There's no telling what that whole casa shell game was about. A couple nights a week on my last trip to SD they closed Venecia and moved the Chicas to La Parada which was open on those nights (?). Weird.

I spent my 1st night ever in Santo Domingo (26 Feb 2006) in the Intercontinental and the hotel lobby and restaurant were great but the rooms were strictly "Motel 6". Man was I glad to get out of there. That's actually where I learned the term "Chica-friendly". I had never heard of a hotel which didn't allow guests before and the security guy wanted $50 to get the Chica in. Hell it wasn't but $80 for a TLN with the Ho. That's also when we learned about "cabanas".

What a f'ing hustle. If you went up with one of the "establishment approved" Putas there was no extra charge but those Broads wanted $200 (prolly kicked back $50 for exclusive rights) and they were nothing special, most of them I wouldn't do on "nickel-night".

Watching the ups and downs and comings and goings of the "improvements" along the Malecon and in Santo Domingo in general, as well as the rest of the country for 7+ years I can honestly opine that every "change" is just a distraction to generate more graft for the politicians, police and owners. Not the business owners, THE owners.

The Intercontinental V Centanario Hotel before the Hotel Shakey and after the Hotel Shakey was erected. V Centanario is now called the Crowne Plaza, photo taken during the paint job and the remodel of the pool deck (camera lens had some fog on it). New lighter outside color might make the building cooler during the day, maybe reducing energy costs to cool the building.

Good points guys, I have not had much negative interaction with the Cuban owners of these places. I am from South Floirda and most of the Cubans have ties to South Florida and several have lived there. They are generally friendly with me. I cant speak to their character as I dont know them that well. However the nature of their business lends itself to people of questionable backgrounds.

In May I was having dinner with a fav and her cousin who also worked at the Girl House and she got into a beef with the Jefe and the guy went balistic. He was screaming that he has been to prison, he doesn't give a shit and was really threatening her. Other girls have told me the Cubans treat them like shit. Therefore when something like this happens they are not going to get to much sympathy.

I have been going to the Casa's on Pasteur for about 4 years and have meet a lot of hot women. Normally I get phone numbers and give them my Dominican number and therefore don't pay the 3,5000 pesos the clubs charge. I also find walking on Independencia at night to be safe and have never had a problem or feared for my safety. The only pain in the ass are the street hustlers. I have come to like the Gazcue area and therefore I will miss some of these places.

I agree with JAO's point about the millions of $$ being invested by big companies and them not wanting the Casa's in their back yards. It's not just the Casa's but the street hustlers they produce. I have stayed at the Jaragua and Intercontinental and you can barely get out the door and on the Malecon without these bastards really hassling you. Some are very persistent and wont leave you alone. They dont realize that not everyone is in Santo Domingo to get a puta. Some guys are just in town on business and just want to go out and get a breath of fresh air and maybe sip on a Presidente. I am reasonably certain that the management of the big hotels have received tons of complaints about these guys. I think this also played a large part in these places getting shut down.

I could give a f_ck if anyone visits the Dominican Republic, I have no financial interests in the country and no financial interest in tourism to the Dominican Republic. That being said, I have had great times (with great people) in the Dominican Republic. I have met other people who have also had great times in the Dominican Republic.

I see improvements every time I visit the Dominican Republic. Las Americas Airport (SDQ) just about every trip has something new or improved (remodeled Claro shop on the second floor, new BanReservas money exchange booth on the second floor, new tile work to the outside walls on the second floor, most recently).

New elevated section of Autopista Duarte near Los Alcarizos makes turning into Los Alcarizos (when heading northwest) safer and easier.

Exit the the Crowne Plaza Hotel (former Intercontinental V Centenario Hotel), make a left, walk about 250 feet to the corner and make another left. Take that street one block and the Hotel Navarro will be on the corner with Avenida Independencia. Hotel Navarro is chica friendly. Hotel Navarro has express room rates (probably for 4 hours, cost is 600 or 700 pesos, about $14US to $16US). The attached photos of the Hotel Navarro were taken a few years ago. Hotel Navarro has recently erected a sign closer to the sidewalk, the sign states express room rates for around 600-700 pesos. Hotel Navarro is Cuban owned, probably by the same people who own Foxys on the Malecon (strip shows, lap dances and take out at Foxys). Foxys sometimes gets women from Brazil. Some of the women who work at Foxys live at the Hotel Navarro. The one time I stopped in at the lobby of the Hotel Navarro, I saw a few cuties lounging around in their pijamas. Hotel Navarro also has rooms for 24 hours.

People staying at one of the three big hotels (Crowne Plaza, Sheraton, Renaissance Jaragua), who can't enter with a woman or who don't want to, can walk to the Hotel Navarro and use an express room. Hotel Navarro is about a block from the Crowne Plaza, about three blocks from the Sheraton and about 4 blocks from the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel and Casino.

Across the street from the Hotel Navarro is a good size Colmado (grocery store), that has tables and chairs (some freelancers sometimes sit there). Diagonally across from the Hotel Navarro is the Hotel La Casona Dorada. Hotel Navarro has a food stand in part of if its front parking area. Adjacent to the Hotel Navarro is the Hotel Duque Wellington, then a parking lot then the open air seating for Villar Hermanos Restaurant. Across the street from Villar Hermanos Restaurant open air seating (Avenida Independencia near Ave. Pasteur) is Club 305 (casa). On the same side of the street as 305 is a parking area for Villar Hermanos, then a small Colmado, an ice cream shop, hardware store and across the street from the hardware store a pharmacy with a bank teller window inside (Cialis by Lilly or Viagra by Pfizer can be purchased there, no prescription necessary).

From the Hotel Navarro walking in the same direction as motor vehicles on Avenida Independencia (east), about two blocks away is Calle Danae which has at least 5 small hotels and sometimes some freelancers at night. One block further east from Calle Danae is a pharmacy with an ATM machine that is open 24/7 (similar to a walgreens or rite-aid, sells soda, juice, chips and other food items). Several other pharmacies in the area that also sell food items. Keep walking east on Avenida Independencia to visit Zona Colonial.

When walking up the street from the Crowne Plaza to get to the Hotel Navarro, about a 1/4 of the way from the Malecon is a small restaurant that serves hot food during the day, inexpensive. Taxi guys are also on that street during the day close to the Malecon. About a 1/3 of the way up that block is the Hotel Maison Gautreaux, chica friendly, good security, jacuzzi on the third floor terrace, good air conditioning in the rooms, rates around $50US per night, http://www.maisongautreaux.net/.

Continuing to walk up that block there will be a steak restaurant on the right, a small sidewalk flower shop (fresh cut flowers) and about half way up the block a small side street begins. On that small side street a few hundred feet away is the Hotel Alcaldeza, my favorite small hotel in Santo Domingo. Friendly owner who has visited tourist areas on the east and west coasts of the United States. Secure parking, good air conditioning, rates around $50US per night, http://www.debbiesdominicantravel.com/2107_alcaldeza.html.

Renaissance Jaragua Hotel and Casino will allow in female guests if you give the names of those women when you check in. Security is more tolerant in the daytime at the big hotels I have stayed at. At night security tightens up. If a woman is not dressed overly hoochie, security may not bother you when you enter.

Rejection sometimes is protection, security might be doing a person a favor by not allowing in a certain guest of a Guest (the Hotel personnel may know more about the guest of the Guest, than the Guest).

That is a good street to take if you want to drive east on the Malecon (toward baby dolls, foxys, D'Luis Parrilada and the pontoon bridge). Where that street intersects with the Malecon is an obelisk that gives you space to make a left and merge into eastbound traffic.

Weekend rates at the big hotels is sometimes 50% cheaper. BYEBYE15 promo code for Orbitz will take 15% off the base rate.
