Actually the prices in PC have dropped. I was just there for the week of the 4th of July and I was paying between 1500 and 2000 pesos for TLN just like I do in Sosua. Right now its low season so that may have something to do with it. I'll be in PC again this upcoming Labor Day weekend and I'll try and report back on what I see.

This is in way meant to be a swipe at any one person as everyone is free to do as they like but this is a good example of over inflated prices. It is low season in PC and true mongers are paying 1500-2000 for TLN and could even pay less.:iconTU:

Most of the girls I picked up came from either Steve's Bar or the other bars going up the street towards the Texaco. If you go to the gentlemans clubs like Bluelights then you are going to be paying upward of around $150/hr which is ridiculous but you get idiots that pay it.

Here is my take and experience in Punta Cana: PC is not Sosua, that is its not point and shoot and all of the girls are not concentrated in one area. PC is a stretch of 30 mile beach with multiple areas for access to girls. Unlike Sosua the beach is lined with all inclusive resorts one right after the other, so you won't find a string of 200 huts/stalls like in Sosua instead you'll see a beach bar/restaurant with a couple of vendors then nothing for a kilometer or two. The girls are out there on the beach but not as obvious as in Sosua. My three favorite beach locations are Bibijagua down by the Barceló Palace Resort, its an outdoor bar/café/vendor spot that's good for hanging around and spotting some local talent. Soles Chill Out Bar is in Corticito and may also have some local talent come by and then right in the heart of Corticito where all of the vendors and Captain Cooks is you can get a happy ending massage from one of several massage girls.

My experience has been is that most of the action is not on the beach, maybe the girls have some agreement or rule with the authorities or the resorts not to obviously work there, who knows. Most of the action is in Bavaro at night starting with Steves Bar as a point of reference. Steve's used to be THE place to be to get girls but over the last couple of years not so but its still a place to start the hunt. Across the street diagonally from Steve's is the Plaza Bavaro where in the center is a bar that gets a few dozen girls late at night. Across from Plaza Bavaro on the street going towards the casino(all within walking distance) is another bar that will fill up with some girls at night and then there is a hookah bar down across from the casino that will have girls also. The Mangu club used to be filled with girls every night(it was kinda the Classico of PC) but on my last few trips to PC the place has been almost deserted. More on that in a minute. Starting at Steve's Bar and going up the road towards the Texaco you will find a couple of open air bars where late at night, say after midnight, will fill up with local Domincans including putas. If all else fails for the evening I know I can always go by these places and pick up some companionship.

If you go up to the Texaco(there is only 1 in town) then across the street from there is a café that is always packed day and night with locals but especially at night since 1 of the 3 gentlemans clubs is located there. If you go inside the club you're paying $150US if you hang around outside the price is normal. I don't remember the name of the place. Down the street from there going past where the banks are and around the corner is the other gentlemans club which uses the playboy symbol as part of its logo, same high pricing. Going back to the street where the banks are but in the opposite direction(way down, not in walking distance) is where you'll find Bluelights, again the same ridiculous high prices but some of the finest DR women I have ever seen just out of my price range.

Cabezo De Toro area is a small neighborhood near the Be Live resorts that has some mongering available also. Again its not obvious and not directly on the beach. As you enter Cabezo de Toro you'll see some multi-colored vendor huts on the left, there is an outdoor bar area that may have some girls there in the day and usually at night too. There are 2 roads that run parallel to each other, the main road and the neighborhood road. The neighborhood road is the one you take to get onto the beach. The Be Live resort has a casino thats open to the public if you're interested.

Veron is the next town over from PC/Bavaro. There used to be a Burger King there for when you got home sick for some fast food but its gone now. I've had success there too but my fingers are tired of typing so I'll fill you in on this a little later.

There will be a lot of Punani in town just for this concert. Nobody comes from Punta Cana but everybody goes there. The bus ride there from Santo Domingo is about $7 each way and there are enough tourists there year round that Chicas will plan to go there on their last $7 that they borrowed and plan to finance the trip by turning a couple tricks with tourists to finance the trip and give them a couple bucks to go home with.

There are definitely off the beaten path mongering opportunities in the area but it's all very hit-or-miss whereas the clubs (Jazzy Club, La Punta and the others) all have stables which include a half dozen of the finest, Miss Universe type Chicas on the whole daam island and they are there for the type of tourist who is used to paying $250-$400 for a night of fun.

If you bring a Favorita to a venue like the Rhianna concert from elsewhere on the island it could be a gesture which cements your relationship with her but frankly, it would be cheaper to bring a Woman from the States and just stay at an AI.

I have been switching between PC & Sosua for years. And the secret for PC is to go to Higuey where the locals live. At night you must hit the central park in Higuey, everyone hangs out there. The best way I meet them is asking for help. Once you meet someone then it is time to go to the disco. Where you can either stay with the one you are with or drop her for someone better.:rofl: If you speak Spanish of course it helps but not mandatory. My Spanish is weak to say the least and I did not have trouble. PC is different from Sosua in the fact that they try to make a family vacation town. So if you are staying at a resort which dominates the beach area, get to know the workers there. You will not have to worry so much about people ripping you off because you will see them again. And they will be happy to hang out with you and show you around after work. If you are discreet you might even get lucky to have one stay in your room after they finish work. But and I say this strongly be very discreet because it will cost them their jobs if found out. It is better to travel with them to Higuey. The prices are correct, all year long no more 1500 & 2000 TLN if you go to Higuey. If you stay in PC you will pay top Peso. Especially if you go to the strip clubs their. All the cab drivers know where all the action is. Let your hotel or resort recommend a cabby for you. If a few visits there you should know your way around then rent a car, which is what I do now. I have a friend who actually gives me his car when I am in town for rent. The last thing I will tell you is this before you leave the states, stop at any 99 Cent Store or a discount market and pickup up on cheap cosmetics & panties. The women will eat them up, with this you should get a couple of nights free. Don't just give them away let them think it is for a friend and bargain from there.:biggrin: And don't forget to get the booze. PC is about stepping up your game.:wink: With just a few tweets and your in with the locals they do not have a problem sharing their friends and family with you. And I have had both friend and Cousin. The object is not to pay anything, which I find more easier in Higuey than Sosua.
