Beach Palace is located basically in downtown Cabarete towards the eastern end of the town. As a reference for those that know the area, it is located a few hundred meters west of Janet’s Market which is extremely convenient. Only a few minutes walk further to the west and you find yourself in the main beach restaurant/ club/ bar area.

The condos are fantastic imo and a great place to stay if your choice is Cabarete. They rival Ocean Dream in regards to quality, and in some sense hotel El Magnifico, but offer being a little bit closer to the action and directly on the beach. For this comes a price though. Those that are budget minded should probably look elsewhere.

I located and booked through airbnb.com where they list several units. Be forewarned that you have to dig through the descriptions to find Beach Palace directly as there are many different listings. They also have their own website which appears that you can book through as well.

I really have no complaints. The office personal were more than accommodating with any issues and the security/ grounds personal were very friendly and extremely helpful (as needed). They provided beach lounge chairs and kept the annoying vendors somewhat in check. The unit I rented contained three bedrooms with the master being on the ocean side, three baths, a full kitchen complete with appliances, cookware, and tableware, and an outstanding back terrace to enjoy some bien fria Presidentes in the evening.
There was an elevator in the building (that I never got to work) and underground parking for those who need it (very convenient in the occasional tropical downpours). The wifi was decent by DR standards, but nothing that one should rely on for work.
