06/2014 - Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic vs Santa Fe, Colombia

I first discovered Jarabacoa in the early 2000 range

and when I moved onto Medellin, I missed jarabacoa until I discovered Santa Fe, Colombia.


Both are 99% middle class natives with no touts or beggers.


Both are a bus or taxi ride from the main places that I stay.


I have rented a car and driven to Jarababoa from Sosua, in under 3 hours.


Santa fe is about an hour by taxi from Medellin.

I been to Santa Fe about 4 times.

I found this place years ago but finally got to stay here last year
