12/2014 - Medical in Boca Chica

On Friday Night I began feeling sick and went to bed at 10PM.


I was still feeling like shit on Saturday so i asked the Hotel to call me a doctor and he wanted $100 just to come over.


i decided to call my taxi guy to go to a local place and my morning chica arrived and went with me.

This place is a 5 minute drive from the Garant

I went to the emergency room and my taxi guy waited outside. My chica came in with me.

doctor spoke no English

They took blood, I waited until I could pee and crap into a cup.


I was there an hour.



I told my taxi guy to leave at that point and he wanted 500 pesos since he was there an hour.



They came back with the test results in 15 minutes and that ran, 550 pesos.


The doctor bill was 1,800 and the pharmacy was 1,700.

The next day he was sick and a few days later, my taxi guy took us to the same clinic.


He charged 200 for the drop off and his doctor was 1,300.


Seems going to ER is 500 more.


Next time, I will walk in.

I had a fever and couldn't get out of bed. Very tired.
