Kviar Dance Club which is the old Pure in the Costa Dorada complex in Puerto Plata

Kviar is the same venue as the old Pure with a new name. I have been going to Kviar Dance Club frequently since I moved to Puerto Plata it is a pleasant diversion from Sosua and Classicos. The club puts you in the mind of Classicos but it is much smaller with 2 levels and several VIP areas. Security is every where big Dominican dudes wearing black suits walk through the crowd making sure everything is copasetic.

There are several differences between Kviar and Classicos the first being all the women that go are not working. Some are hanging with friends celebrating some type of event and others are with dates. On any given night there might be 5-20 women who are obviously working the club as opposed to Classicos where you might have as many as 100 women in the club all of which are working. The talent level varies especially depending on the night. Some nights it is obvious that the chicas are around the way girls then other nights it is obvious by how the chicas dress and carry them selves that they are high end chicas.

I will continue to investigate but what I have discovered is that Kviar is not a discount location for PFP like Rumbas, I doubt very seriously if any women will leave with you for 1500 pesos. One reason being is security expects a propina from the chicas if they are seen leaving with a client. I have been told the propina starts at 1000 pesos and upward. Second some of the chics are from Santiago and as Uncle Rukus has shared with us Santiago PFP is not cheap. The talent level varies but I have seen some strong 8's in there that will definitely give you something to think about. I would start at 2000 pesos and I wouldn't be surprised if some chicas there will not leave for less than 4000 pesos.

Kviar is less than 5 minutes from my place so I plan to visit quite frequently, another thing I failed to mention is occasionally I have seen Sosua pros on dates or working solo. Some Sosua pros actually live in Puerto Plata so unless they have an aversion to working where they live it actually makes more sense to work at Kviar.

Kviar Update

One of the differences between Kviar and Classicos is it's diversity, the Casino is next door to gamble or to chat in a more laid back atmosphere. Despite the availability of the Casino the night club remains the man attraction. On the weekends there is a 150 pesos cover charge and they give you a drink card valued at the same amount. This would be another difference between Kviar and Classicos because at Classicos the cover charge is 200 pesos everyday of the week and you get no drink card.

When Kviar was Pure it had more of a touristy feel but recently I have noticed a very strong Dominican presence, in fact it has become the premier location for Puerto Plata Dominicans. Therefore if you don't feel comfortable around Dominicans you will not enjoy Kviar. It is not uncommon especially on the weekends for the men to outnumber the women.

Kviar has surprises in the chica department there is the regular crew that show up consistently but then there are others who only come occasionally. I have recently seen one of the chicas in my Puerto Plata network there with her friends whether she was there to work or for fun is any ones best guess.

Another interesting phenomenon is since the tourist crowd at Kviar is down some of the Puerto Plata Kviar chicas are going to Classicos looking for work. In fact one night I was at Classicos I saw one of Kviar's finest and 2 hours later after I left Classicos I stopped in Kviar on my way home and guess who was on post?...yes the same chica.

My biggest complaint would be the crew is small and not diverse like Classicos however there are some definite 8's that come through on a regular basis.

On July 7th Policia Nacional started enforcing an old rule in Sosua. Businesses that sell alcohol will closed at midnight Monday - Thursday and 2am on the weekends. It was reported Rumbas closed at midnight and Classicos was dead also. CESTUR was taking chicas who were walking solo in custody, they had to pay from 1500 - 2000 pesos to get released. At 1am there was almost no traffic on Pedro Clisante .

I was in Kviar after 1am and all of a sudden I saw faces from Classicos during the same time I was getting live Sosua updates on whatsapp from friends who were in town. I saw one chic from Classicos and I said "que estas hacienda en mi ciudad?" and she cracked up laughing...ROTFL! The Kviar crew started looking around like WTF is going on here I hope we don't have the Clash of the Titans...lol!

Already Kviar chicas are complaining about Sosua chicas invading their territory.

The cover on the weekends is usually around 200 pesos so I stand at the desk and the lady says cuantro cientos ...I was lyke YIKES!...lol. I later discovered there was supposed to be an artist that night.

This was an unusual night in that some of the pros were not in attendance I assume because the cover scared them away. There was a heavy crowd and I thought it was interesting because I saw some Sosua chicas with some Dominican dudes...hmmmmmmmmm I wonder what that was all about????...lol.

I did see some other Sosua chicas but not many. The crowd was hard to read since many of the usuals were not there. There were couples and singles and only a few that were obviously working. I did get a couple of looks but I ended up pulling the trigger with someone I already knew.

I waited until 3am for the artist but I got tired of waiting and pulled a chica so I paid the cover for nothing...CONYO!

Most of the Dominicans I see are young cats on their motos, they come in groups or with their novias. Kviar is nothing like Lovera in Santiago where the narcos throw around big money and their are Range Rovers out front. From what I see there simply isn't enough money to throw around in Kviar for all the chics that are working.

On the weekends there is sometimes live entertainment, occasionally buses of tourist make an evening at Kviar a night excursion and they party the way tourist party. In addition sometimes they have dancers who do their thing on a stage. There is no dance floor per se however people are free to dace on the sidelines.

Kviar Update August 17,2016

Kviar is seeing more of an influx of Sosua chicas due to the on going drama in Sosua. However I have noticed that some Sosua chicas are not working when they are in Kviar they are with Dominican men (possibly their chulos) and other chicas in VIP smoking hookah and drinking. I know it's none of our business what chicas do with the money we give them but I do think it's interesting to see how frivolous they can be. These chics seem to be partying having a good time. It should be noted that many Sosua chicas also live in Puerto Plata.

There are those Sosua chicas who are clearly working and you can see the intent in their eyes. If they don't get a client they have to eat the cost of transportation and the entry fee if they come on the weekends. Another interesting thing I have seen is the mix of chicas in Kviar. It is obvious by the dress and comport of some chicas they are from the barrios of Puerto Plata and they would easily go for 2000 pesos but then there are others who by their hair, clothing, walk and over all presence you can tell they want a little more than 2000 pesos. I spoke to one Kviar chic and she advised some chics are starting at $100.00 so it simply depends on the chica.

One of the biggest disadvantages to Kviar is the amount of men that go. Often there are more men that chicas, however they are Dominican men and very rarely are they paying for sex they are just hanging out and drinking. Sometimes I like to go to Kviar to hunt but sometimes I simply enjoy the show.

My overall impression of regular Kviar chicas is even though they may want a little more money they are less mafiosa and the generally seem to be nicer. For example I go frequently without taking any and many speak to me regardless and greet me warmly unlike in Sosua where if you aren't taking a chic often times they igg you and have nothing to say to you. My major challenge going forward is the potential catiness between them when I choose one over the other because at the end of the day they are still women.

The bar is a small venue not unlike Chalos and the other bars at Calle Die y Seis, since I don't drink I do not feel comfortable in those establishments solo.

Barrio Princesses

I have had quite a few Barrio Princesses from between 1000-2000 pesos and most of them I have not sufficiently enjoyed to keep on the team. I know these chics start having sex young so they should be experienced but for the most part I have not had much sexual chemistry with many. The below listed chic complained the last time and despite her personality all of our sexual encounters have been mediocre

The interesting thing is many are very proactive with their photos but the façade they present does not equal their ability. Frankly I's rather pay more to get experience and better service.

The Kviar Connection

Many of these Barrio Princesses go to Kviar on the weekends and I find it interesting that the same chic that can be had for 1500 pesos in her barrio will want twice that much in a tourist spot such as Kviar. Although it should be noted that while in Kviar if you study the dress make up and demeanor it will be relatively easy to spot the difference between the Barrio Princesses and the regular pros. The pros in Kviar are generally expecting 3000 pesos and up.

It's like Clasico's back in the day. It was just a place we went to get chicas. I had a few great nights with the fellas there but it could have been anywhere with booze, music and chicas.

I really don't see the attraction. I haven't been up in Clasico's in years now...and don't intend to change that. :rolleyes:

It is in the Costa Dorada hotel complex on the main highway just as you enter Puerto Plata from Sosua on your right you can't miss it there is a lot of signage.

Kviar Casino & Disco, Puerto Plata

Kviar used to be my go to spot when I moved to Puerto Plata but it's kinda played out for me now. It is the premier night spot in Puerto Plata and attracts both locals and tourist. There is a casino and a disco next door. They have special artist occasionally on the weekends and a strip show on Thursdays. There is a mix between regular chics and working girls. If you are attentive you will be able to discern the difference between the two. Many nights there are more men than women, Dominican men love the spot.

Below is a sample of some of the talent that frequent Kviar. It is not unusual for chics to come from Santiago or La Vega and work a while then keep it moving.

When I hovered my mouse-pointer over the "Click this bar" rectangle, a Photobucket HTML address popped up in a box at my screen's lower-left corner. When I did the same with the blank bars, the same address popped up.

My question is, what happened in the HTML code to create the duplicate bars? I'm not saying that to be a passive-aggressive asshole....

I went back to Cam's original post with the chica in the white dress, to [-]be even more of a passive-aggressive asshole[/-] see if I could find out anything from THAT. Sure enough, there's his remark about "the chics I wouldn't pay for sex..." with two more "fornicating polar-bear" rectangles, followed by a "Click this bar to view the full image" bar.

I don't remember the exact number but the reason for the lines is because I copied the original post from the other thread. I believe all the pictures I posted are visible now.
