Anyone been to El Candil

Me and my boy are going back to the DR in July and we stayed at El Candil but I just read that the old managers are gone. Has anyone been there since the new management took over. I was wondering why I hadn't gotte a reply to my email. Any info would be appreciated.

How does Costalunga compare to the El Candil?

I would stick with Costalunga for now, I read the same "mediocre" review of Candil on another site.

I stayed at El Candil in December-large construction site behind the hotel with noise-not sure if project is done. Is chica friendly but old owners kind of looked down at you-mostly Italian families staying there-I changed hotels
