Thousands of veterans will be eligible to shop online at military exchange websites starting on 11 November 2017, thanks to a policy change by the Defense Department.
The initiative, which was first announced (https://www.defense.gov/News/News-Releases/News-Release-View/Article/1049503/department-of-defense-extends-online-military-exchange-shopping-privileges-to-v/) in January 2017, will apply to veterans who have received honorable discharges and can verify their status by using the website www.VetVerify.org (https://www.vetverify.org/)

I don't know what kind of bargains you can get at the online exchange, but it's worth checking out and easy to get verified.

(Sorry, no uniforms, booze or cigarettes)

It will be interesting to see how much my UHD TV is on their website. They've got a ton of UHD TV's for sale.

Thanks, Happy... good to know before my next trip to the States. I can't believe the change in attitude towards vets since I left the States almost 6 years ago... especially in the South! "Thank you for your service, Sir... " discounts and free parking at Niagara Falls... can't beat that with a stick.
