If you enjoy Rum and might be in the DR in July... There will be a Rum Festival here in Puerto Plata...

The Puerto Plata Destination Tourism Cluster will host the first “Dominican Rum Festival” from July 5 to 7, 2018.
The festival will be held in “Puntilla Park,” in the city’s oceanside drive, and its goal is to highlight the top-quality rums produced in the Dominican Republic.
Festival organizers announced that they plan to celebrate the innovative event every year in order to promote the thriving Dominican rum industry.
The event agenda will also include concerts, seminars, workshops, tours, and food tasting activities.
