Funny how the past the stories about the businesses in Sosua ( Passions, CMP, Rumba, D Latin, Elvis Place, etc.) these places would be raided, owners/manangers locked up, then businesses closed down for trafficking, or pimping chicas. Places like Passions, CMP and Pica Flor were operating with the in your face kinda mentality and that didn't sit well with the powers that be.

Places like Blackbeards stay under the radar and don't attract attention so they remain open.

Places like DR Nights are very likely making their "payments" on time to keep the powers that be happy and as long as they remain under the radar they will be fine.

Cabanas don't have a problem because the primary customers are Dominican plus the the powers that be need to have a place to go to bang their side piece as well.

J_d66, Cabanas are not P4P associated within the laws of pimping as you know, they are rented facilties without women on site, so you must bring your own sand to the beach and hope the rooms all have hotwater, porno, and music that are all working. :wink:
As far as my post, unfortunately I understand the stupidness that the DR offers, however this sex resort hotel and any others can not be considered a legal business when it is pimping to paid clients here in the DR .
