Hey Jimmy,

I'm in Santo Domingo right now... I haven't been in the DR in a couple of years. I'll be writing a trip report in a couple of weeks when I get back home but for now I'm exploring and chasing chicas.

I've been in Santo Domingo since I got here and I want to start exploring outside a bit. I want to head to boca chica. Do you have any advice on bars/places to go to in boca chica, best day to go to boca chica, best time? Any contacts that might be useful?

Here in Santo Domingo I've been to couple of Venezuelan girl casas (they were ok), One was a lot better than the other. Oasis, and Teresas I think it's called? I've also been to some bars and night clubs, Jaragua, merengue bar in the casino, el conde, and some bars in the zona colonial. I've met some girls online and off sites like skokka. I will have a good trip report when all is said and done.

Also if you have good tips on Santo Domingo, I've probably only scratched the surface here there are bars and casas all over the place.

I stayed in the Capital a few times and Yayow who lives in Boca Chica took us there and after that, my last few trips were spent there.


I always stay at the Garant Hotel. Walk in and book a room. They give a discount for 7 days or more.


They close off the main street at night and put tables out.


The busses run 24 hours a day between Boca and the Capital.

Is this the same Chino that used to post about Santo Domingo and restaurant reviews? If it is he's a good guy. I met him a couple of times in Santo Domingo.
