Hi guys. I'm single man in my late 20's from UK.. Just discovered this amazing forum and currently planning my trip to DR in end of Feb. I already made an availability check request with Blackbeard for my dates. Before I was planning to go with all inclusive option, but after reading few threads I decided that BB is what I need. My main travel purpose is obviously chicas :) Now just planning to research more and subscribe to access reports.

You can't go wrong with a couple of days at BB to get started. But if you are coming that far you should plan a couple of nights in Sosua also. There is way more to do here, great bars and restaurants and beautiful beaches all in walking distance. Once you check out the trip reports you will see! Looking forward to your report.

Would you advice to split my stay into something like 3 days at BB and 4 at Sosua? Would you recommend any chica friendly hotel there? Heh report definitely will be coming, just nearly half a year away :D

Hi raging. Welcome to the board. You made the right decision to at least start at Blackbeards. Whether you move on to Sosua on your first trip depends on how street smart and confident you are. A little Spanish would help a lot. You have until February to learn the basics, greetings, numbers, parts of the body, and words for anything you may particularly want such as specific foods or drinks.

Are you only coming for a week? A long way to come just for six whole days. Once here you will need to buy a package for your phone so you can use the local Claro phone service and also the internet (especially WhatsApp).

I am from Surrey and moved to the DR twelve years ago. I live in Puerto Plata, about four miles from Blackbeards. If you want to come into Puerto Plata city during the daytime for a change of scenery, we could meet up on the Malecón (seafront) for a drink or lunch and chat.

Hi weyland. Thanks for your input mate. Unfortunately, I'm not very street smart and am coming off LTR which finished few years ago, but I never was able to get back on track with girls. One of the reasons of trip is to regain that confidence with more easier girls and then transfer it into gaming women here or elsewhere. Surprisingly Spanish is one of the languages I was planning to learn, I will definitely use this opportunity to kickstart my learning.

I might look into longer stay as per your advice, depending on my financial circumstances.

I will be definitely digging and reading forum prior to my leave, but it would be really cool to speak with you in person as you are someone who knows the kitchen very well.

I'm with Weyland, in that starting with Blackbeard's will get you a good introduction to mongering in the Dominican Republic. It's relaxed and laid-back, relatively free of drama or problems, and it's a real point-and-click environment when it comes to the girls. Plus, there's a mamasan to help you with the girls (and to keep them in line), and the prices are fixed so there's no haggling. If there's a downside, it's that Blackbeard's is kind-of-isolated, outside of town, in the gated community of Costambar. There are a few other restaurants and eateries nearby, and Jenny's store up by the gates has a "cambio" (money-changer) ... you will need to bring cash; IIRC, the closest ATM is a cab-ride away, in Puerto Plata.

Seven thousand KM is a long way to travel for just a few days, but depending on the price of your flight, it's not too unreasonable. A couple of years ago, I flew from Washington, DC to Frankfurt, and joined a couple of other board-members for a four-night whirlwind tour of the FKK sauna-clubs around Dusseldorf and in Frankfurt ... but I used award-miles for the flight, so the biggest expense was the girls (of course!) Brought 1000 Euros, and got back home with five; yeah, that was a lot of action.

I'm sure you can fill your six nights with enough action to make the long flight worthwhile, but if you can eke out a few more nights in-country, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it.

Good luck, and keep us posted ....

(PS: JDR, the owner of this site, is out-of-country at this time, and he won't process your subscription until he gets back home.)

This is the only railway locomotive in the Puerto Plata area.

I just had a friend visit me from the UK. He had to go to Punta Cana and rent a car. But he did not mind too much. He is a motoring fetishist. I would not recommend renting a car on your first visit.

Most of the UK ex-pats and their visitors fly via Belgium, Spain or German. Seems crazy, starting off in the wrong direction, but they must have found it is the most economical way. Remember that any flights you research now may not be available come February. They are always messing around with the schedules. The Thomas Cook fiasco will not help as the most popular German carrier, Condor, is involved. For advice on flights from the UK, ask on the dr1.com website. Don't mention Blackbeards or mongering. Just say you are visiting friends.

You are right about experience here giving you more confidence with females back home.

A friend living in the DR just did the reverse trip so she looked into the current options. She wrote:

There is no good way. The cheapest is TuiFly through Brussels and that does go to PP. Coming out there is a stopover in SD and you have to travel to Brussels the day before to be there early enough in the morning.

https://www.tuifly.be/

Not a connecting flight, you have to pick your bags up, hang around and check in again.

Some folks are going through Toronto now, so you might want to suggest he checks that route.

I see now why my other friend went via Punta Cana.

Sounds like a lot of hassle to get a cheap fuck. I won't pencil in our meet on the Malecón just yet.

How times have changed. Fourteen years ago I did Gatwick to Pto Pta return for 218 quid (taxes included). Normally I paid around 350 quid return.

Have you thought about Kenya? See the reports on this board.

XXX my connecting flights are 24hours

Weyland I did a little research about Kenya and I do not think that that's a place where I want to go. I contacted Jimmy to find out how to pay him as Googlepay and Zelle are not working for me. Gpay not accepted by barclays and zele not available in UK, he has not replied yet. That's why access to reports is currently pending.

I'm thinking to give up DR option as it too much of a hassle. My original idea for last year was to go Thailand, but because I was recently banging a lot of thai escorts I wanted to try different type of meat in DR. DR and Thailand both have amazing beaches and this is a must for me. I'm currently deciding between Vietnam and Thailand with idea using Thai/Vietnam cupid website to meet girls.

Taking into account above said I must admit that I'm 90% giving up idea to go to DR. Maybe if you guys know how the things are in Punta Cana in terms of getting a nice young chicas for reasonable price I might reconsider that. But currently I'm more down to go asia. I'm currently on holiday at Cyprus, so upon my return I will make decision and sort out holiday dates at work.

Raging666, I'd rather go to Thailand than to the DomRep -- and I live in the Washington, DC area, which is about a six-hour flight (including stopover time in Miami) to Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo. As a matter of fact, my latest mongering trips were to Thailand and the Philippines, which involves a 16-hour flight from DC to Hong Kong, then two hours or so to Manila, or three-plus to Bangkok.

I took a look at CheapOair, just out of curiosity, and found that Thai Airlines has a nonstop from Heathrow to Bangkok ... it's 11 1/2 hours going over and 13 hours coming back, but there's no changing planes on the way. CheapOair lists a price around $700 - 750 US for a round trip, flying out 23 Feb 2020 and returning 29 Feb -- just as an example. That's a hell of a lot better than my round-trip flight to BKK.

My 'rule' for overseas travel is that I want to spend a day in the destination for every hour I spent in-transit ... for a twelve-hour flight, that would mean twelve days in the LOS. You'd also have to deal with 7 hours' worth of jet-lag ... lucky you; I turn my clock around, entirely, with 11 or 12 hours' difference between home time and Thai time. But, in my book, it's worth it.

Your mileage may vary....

That has got to be a hoax. Surely no-one would call their airline that!

It's not an airline, it's a booking agent like Priceline and Expedia. I've booked through them, before I decided to go whole-hog for American Airlines and oneWorld.

Found these two posts on DR1 today:

Eurowings last flight from Dusseldorf to POP is on October 25.

DUS to POP on 18 October - EUR 149. Baggage included.
15 and 22 October - EUR 249

and

There are some good deals going the other way for anyone making a last minute decision to go back to the UK for Christmas. 149.99 Euros on 16th, POP to Brussels.

No use at all to raging666, but does show there are still bargains to be had for Brits with flexible timetables, like me once I had retired. Any Brit in that position should keep an eye on offers when they crop up and be prepared to move fast. I sometimes flew to the DR at 2/3 days notice.

Quick point of information, Westy said the nearest atm to Blackbeards is in Puerto Plata, there is an atm available at Jenny's supermarket, inside the gated community about a 10 minutes walk from Blackbeards, I have used it on occasion without any issues.

That's new, since the last time I stayed at Blackbeards -- admittedly, that was years ago.

Thanks -- it's good to know.

Which ones you mean? I was banging thai escorts through agencies in London. In terms of Cyprus I'm currently in village next to Larnaca, not much of an action here.

Currently settled my plans to go to Pa Tong beach in Phuket. It will take me 13.5h for inbound and 15.5h for outbound on both occasions will be having a stop in Bangkok. It would be easier to go to Bangkok, but it's beaches are not even close to beautiful Pa Tong. Just looking for some guest friendly hotels. Current holiday price for 14 days is 1050£, which I expect to rise to 1,100-1,200 by the time I book it, which I might correct by choosing different hotel.

I haven't encountered a hotel in Patong that wasn't guest-friendly. You might do better by seeing how close the hotel is to Bangla Road, and how close you want to get depends on your tolerance for noise -- especially loud pounding bass-and-drums.

Bangla Road is ground-zero for the night-club and girly-bar action in Patong. It is closed to vehicles in the evening, and it is crowded not only with competing music (turned up to 11, with that bass-and-drums approaching the Richter scale), but with bar-hoppers, mongers, and lots and lots of tourists out to see the craziness. It runs from the beach up to what we could call Second Street, formally known as Rat-U-Thit Pee Road; turn right from Bangla, walk a hundred meters or so, and you're in front of the mammoth "Central" department store and its excellent food-court, and across from the truly-titanic Jungceylon shopping-mall. (I've gotten lost a few times in Jungceylon Mall, but there are lots of good opportunities for eating and for shopping.) Further south on Rat-U-Thit Pee Road, you'll reach the Hard Rock Cafe on the right and Otop Market on the left; behind Otop Market and its food-stalls, there are a large number of thatched-roof, open-air bars -- "Aussie bars," with an atmosphere that's far different from Bangla Road.

Halfway between Bangla Road and Otop is "Christin Massage," which is a soapie-massage place. I really like soapies, but they're expensive ... 3000 baht and up, more of course for a prettier girl. You start with a bubble-bath in a tub for two, then you lie on an air-mattress in the tiled wet-area beside the tub, while the girl slathers you with soapsuds and then slips and slides all over your body, cheek-to-cheek from head to toe. Then you rinse and dry off, and the action moves to the bed in the dry-area. The whole process takes about an hour and a half, and for a monger, it is the essence of "good clean (sex-play) fun." I recommend you try this at least once, whether at Christin in Patong, Honey Spa (and others) in Pattaya, and I know there are soapies in the Nana Plaza - Soi Cowboy area of Bangkok, around Sukhumvit Road.

I think you're going to have a blast!
