Just booked my newbie trip to DR... can anything recommend any decent sites either for general information or working chicas

For general information, you're in the right place. You may need to get access to trip reports tho.
facebook/instagram sites, well... facebook and instagram. LOL. I'm thinking with a name like Pinoydave you mean something like DIA, so for that
you can use dominican cupid. I find that facebook works better at least for me.
