The table tennis doubles team of Luis Lin Ju and Nieves Xue Wu won the mixed doubles championships at the XVII Latin American Table Tennis Championships which were held in Brazil. The Dominican team beat the Cuban team with a final score of 11-6, 11-6, 11-8. On the way to the championship, the pair beat teams from Brazil, Venezuela, Barbados and Cuba.
