The Casandra Awards, that honor the best in show business in the DR, will be presented tonight at the National Theater. The ceremonies begin at 7pm with the red carpet parade. The awards ceremony begins at 8pm and will be televised on Telecentro (channel 13) in the DR and in the United States through Caribe NDTV from Direct TV.

This year there are 186 nominees and the likes of Paulina Rubio, Aventura, Monchy & Alexander, Johnny Ventura, Sergio Vargas, Milly Quezada are among the invited guests. The event is sponsored by Claro Codetel this year.
