Well I went in August via AA and paid 660.00. Usually around this time till Februaury the Charters start offering deals for flights at 199 and 299. Well Apple Vacations and Funjet are now sending everyone to Punta Cana. I was forced to book 11/15 to 11/22 through AA at a price of 480.00. Oh well the days of cheap flights to POP are no more. That aint gonna stop me. We need to start brining some Dominicans to Chicago so they start offering cheap flights. I am sick and tired of stopping in MIA and walking 20 minutes to my connection. Even worse having a connection in Puerto Rico and sitting for 4 hrs.

Been there twice this year already. Goin in November again. Stayin at the Europa with the foot long cockroaches.

Same thing happening in Boston. The charters are pushing Punta Cana. I will do SJU any day over a stop over in hell (MIA). $480 is not that bad. Check out prices after X-mas to May. Fucking outragous.

Same thing in Detroit. There are no charters to the DR except to Punta Cana. See my post on the other thread. I called the charter company today and she said that the PP resorts have pulled the deals from the charter companies right now. The last deal was for Aug. which they offered 2 months ago. They are also now not offering air only to PP.
