Am planning a trip in the next couple of weeks and need a current status report. Are the Intercontinental and Jarragua chica friendly?

I believe The Jarragua is now friendly and The Intercontinental was in Dec 2002 when I stayed there.

I was just at the Intercontinental Memorial Day weekend. One night me and my friend (we stayed in separate rooms) brought a couple of chicas up to our rooms. Wasn't even asked any questions by the lobby personnel (even though I had been told earlier by a bellhop that chicas had to be registered before they could go to your room).

Mind you, the Intercontinental is undergoing some renovations and there seemed to be few guests there that weekend.
