How much longer is it until a complete section is done??? I was in research mode in Brazil. I was wondering how much Brazil information is up. Not enough actually. If you click a link (blue phrase or word) nothing happens or you are directed to a blank page... So how much longer before a complete section is done, links and all...

Kid,
Don't worry about this at this point. There is more info available on Rio than any other city I can think of.

If these don't provide enough info then put your CIA buddies to work :)

I have read both Guides. I feel like I wrote them because how many times I read them... I'm looking for more education. I need brazilian brain food.

If you've "memorized" both of these guides you are aready in the 99th percentile of prepared visitors for any location in the world. Here is a suggestion for a nice mixed tourist/monger afternoon.

Take the trolly (there is only one left) from centro up the hill to Santa Theresa neighborhood. It used to be a rich area that fell into disuse and for the past 15 years or so has developed into a cafe/art galaria/ funky kind of place. Nice views from the hill, you pass a favela on the way up and it's a great place for lunch. If you time it right you return to Centro at about 3:00, perfect time to hit 4 x 4!! I don't think you need an explanation of what to do there :)
