How do you get to the teleferico cable cars? Is it still 200 pesos each? Any new information?

I believe it is RD200 for the gringo and RD100 for the local. I went 2 years ago and paid RD500 for 4 chicas and a gringo.

I guess it was RD100 each or the 2 spinners were charged half price. Glad i did not spell antyhing wrong.

It was over 3 years ago I went, so I don't remeber it well, but it is just past the main roundabout and it is uphill.

It's at least 3/4 of the way through Puerto Plata, coming from Sosua, and it's the only left hand turn that goes sharply uphill.
Besides, there's a great big sign that says "Teleferico".

It's at least 3/4 of the way through Puerto Plata, coming from Sosua, and it's the only left hand turn that goes sharply uphill.
Besides, there's a great big sign that says "Teleferico".


You mean this one? I did go up there last year and will go back soon. Most of my pictures didn't come out clear. :eek: :eek:
