Jim,

I saw in another post that you are hitting Samana when you are down there in July. I am heading over there as well at the end of June for a few days.

1) What is a must see when I am there?
2) Should I pre-book a hotel or get one when I get there? Any particular hotel you recommend?
3) How long is the trip from Sosua?
4) Nightlife? Restaurants?

Any thing else you think would be worth while knowing please fire away.

I was there in September 2000 and it was a 3 hour drive I remember and we were 30 minutes past the town and I found some chicas in that town. I will book a room in advance because we want to stay in a cottage on the beach.
