I never stayed there, but stopped by:
twice in March 2005,
Once in Sept 2005,
and once on Oct 9th 2005,
and I never saw anyone there....just bad timimg I guess??????

Maybe, but not at the Palace. Both times I stopped by there in March there was no one there....no mongers....no puta's.....no John....just the young guy (Lorenza?).
I was in Sosua 11-16 March, and then POP/Costumbar 16-20 Mar.
I'd definately like to shoot the shit with you over a few Presidentes some day.....if not in the DR, then maybe in HotLanta!

Out of my 10 trips to the DR (11 next month) i have stopped by the palace 9 times (one trip was to SDQ)... I have stayed there about 5 different trips... Also stayed at Europa, Europa guest house, Blue Dolphin, One Ocean Place, and Naomis house :eek: :D
Thats Sosua only...

Sometimes there were guys that stayed 9 to 14 days straight and it was fun.

I've stayed on three of my four trips so far and I will be there again in two weeks.
I've always met plenty of chicas and other guys there, but I've only ever known people be around afternoons and early evenings. In my experience Sosua as a whole seems to go down a few gears between about 6-11pm when the beach is finished and the clubs aren't open.
The Palace security was a real lifesaver for me on my first trip when I ended up with a couple of chicas from outside who wanted to negotiate with broken bottles!

If you are there 10/29 weekend hit the beach 10/30. Bonfire with a few ISOC around at the Shark Bar. I will stop by the Palace when i come back from Santiago saturday the 29th. PM me if you will be there then.

11 trips, 92 days at the Palace. :D If it closes, looks like my 12th trip next month will be the last there. :(

Stayed there for a few days in May. Met John, and the day manager, Nelson. It seemed to be slow at that time, but Nelson hooked me up on a couple of occasions.

My apologies. It was actually July 19-26 that I was in POP/Sosua. I stayed at the Palace for a few days--I believe it was from the 22-25. In May I had gone to Acapulco and Punta Cana.
My first time there, there was an earthquake.

My first trip was at the Palace 2002 - Mimos, Nilsa, Estelle the first day. Great intro to the DR. John was great. Then I returned in March 2003 - Estelle, Ana, Blausi, Vanessa. The Palace was the place to be back then. Pool parties, free BJs at the pool as girls tried to inspire you for service, great chicas. But as time went on, the girls became less inspiring and the place is running down. I like the condo option now, but I would stay at the Palace if a bunch of ISOCers were there. The talent there now is not for me, although Larry will always take all of them up to the penthouse for a week. He seems to have a good time.

I was at the Palace in May 2005 for a beer and to check out the chicas. This was my first and only visit. I guess I saw the Palace after it's Glory Days. The place was run down and fell short of my expectations.

Yeah, I am beginning to think the same thing. The way things are going with me a few more trips to the DR and the whole town of Sosua will be up for sale. :(

My one and only stay at the Palace was last spring. I enjoyed it tremendously. Soronji to Anna to Maribel to Naomi the first day! You can just step outside your door and grab a puta rebounding from another monger or hanging at the bar or pool.

Yes we had a blast gdogg! You are the super macdaddy though. ALL the chicas dig gdogg :D Except that one little Mala. What was her problem again? I don't think she was a Palace chica though.

When I was there my 2 days, it was a Ghost Town!! I saw only 3 Chicas my 2 days there. Jacuzzi had no water by the pool & The Penthouse either?. The bar looked like it hasn't been used in forever. I hope you guys have it better than what I did? Good Luck!!

I've stayed there 7 or 8 times and have always enjoyed it. One of the times I was there it was mothers day (DR) and the house was empty but has always been full of chicas and mongers otherwise. By the way - how do you guys remember the number of trips etc. I'd have to count the stamps in the passport.
I would really hate to see it go - although I know John has been talking about selling for a while.
Has anybody seen John's new condo's? I understand they are completed now.
