View Full Version : A lot of traffic at the Malecon (due to the construction for the subway)

Hey guys :smile:

The construction for the subway is being done near The Doll House area.

I noticed a lot of traffic from 12pm to 1:30pm and again from 5pm to 8:30pm.

Traffic would start from The Intercontinental Hotel area all the way to The Doll House area.

So if you are driving, you might want to go to Independencia Ave. instead.

Maximo Gomez also has a lot of traffic due to the construction for the subway.

I would give a nut for the HE/UPS contract for that project. They can't keep the f'ing lights on, how do they intend to keep the trains running?

(High Energy / Uninterruptible Power Supply)...sorry

On top of that, traffic has been a pain in the ass during those hours.

Part of Maximo Gomez has been blocked. So you need to drive around the block.

I'm now in Boston. I wish I was in Santo Domingo. :(

I went to Santo Domingo with my brother in early May for a few days.

I noticed this as well. During a trip a few months back, morning rush hour was a lot extra. Almost missed my flight!

Oh well the worse that would have happened is you would of had to find another chica to warm your bed that extra night!

The malecon is always the shits in the mornings, especially from about 8 to 9.
Big ass tapones. Gotta make sure you've got something to listen too.

Also, going up Abraham Lincoln, or going east on 27 de Feb.

What a HUGH pain in the ass.

The only good thing about where I work is there's virtually no traffic....
