Other than the usual Ron Brugal which liquors would you bring back to the states? Determining factors would be cost, quality, and something that might not be available in the states.

I am doing a local comparison. I wrote down prices when I was there this time. I know some of them are no cheaper there than here.

As a person who has only been to the DR once I noticed the same thing. I thought maybe the excitement of the chicas made me miss seeing something in liquor bargains. I know most places I visit out of the states usually have really good buys on local, and neighboring countries liquor.

Ron Brugal was OK. What is the top shelf for Ron Brugal?

after a trip a year or so ago a good buddy picked me up at the train station and had a small pary set up in his back yard so we could tell our stories . . .

he had a cooler full of Presidentes and I said NOOOOooooo ! !

I was Presidented and fucked out . . . all I wanted was a good slice of pizza and an ice cold Bud ! !

i find it's about as good as i've had...at any price. be interested to hear what you think.

Thanks gentlemen for the suggestions. All I have to do is stay sober long enough to get the shopping done. I will probably bring back one of the top 4 mentioned.

I believe it is legal to bring back the equivalent of 1 gallon of liquor or 4 750 ml bottles.
