More of my trip will cum l8r, but for now just a heads up for you guys.

Thanks to Apos for the pic below, this girl Bete (pronounced beetee) was working at Herman's on the beach (Siempre Sol) waiting tables etc. Really cute, but found out from Herman she is only 16. Anyways for numerous reasons he fired her, and got some new talent.

Next night I'm taking a walk thru Flamingos and who should I see there, (don't know if she was working or just there), pissed to the gills, laying spread eagle on some guy who's feeling her pretty well, but Bete. Know it was her cause she called me over to say hi.

Since, she has been seen in a number of other bars and discos, so just be carefull, remember 16, need to wait.

She is working down the beach at hte Norwegian guys bar now. Som eGerman guy got her into Classicos one night last week and she was trying to get me to buy her a beer. What is the legal drinking age anyway?

Drinking age is 18 too, but I was at a little kid's (8) B-day party and everyone was drinking, and I mean everyone!

Not drunk mind you, but casual drinking.

Just another note. My friends have seen video of the party and they almost fell over with heartattacks! :lol:

The party was just like being at Classicos except 80% of the people were 4' tall. Those kids could dance and of course Merengue is just like sex standing up.

At an 8 year old's party in the US, and the girls are in one area and the boys in another.

In the DR, the boys are playing Papi Chulo and dancing with all of the girls.

Just a whole different culture.

Really I know a lot of third world countries have a 15 or no age for drinking.

There was a big drive late last year around October reminding everyone that the age was 18 for drinking.

I do see it enforced at Carwashes in the DR all of the time, but they are loud and open during the daytime plus they are open to public view. As for clubs in Santiago I have seen (forget the name) 15th B-day celebrations all walk in after their party!

Shit, I think when they are born they give them presidentes as a baby bottle for formula, I have seen kids as young as 10 drinking cerverzas in the campo.

I was hanging at Herman's, and she was there. When I left, it seemed like the natural thing to do. Hell, I kissed Yahaira on the cheek on her 17th (NOT 18th) birthday. I guess if I keep it innocent, I'm good...I hope!
