Enjoy Biggun. You may like the slower pace of BB's, but it now bores me after about 1 day. I stayed there recently just to rekindle some old associations and made the mistake of staying 3 days. By day 3 I was bored to tears. Also, all their new rules and regulations and bill padding and up-charges really get on my nerves now.

Make sure you get off the property and hit Sosua. I made it to Sosua from BB's for 140 pesos each way. Easy:

1) have them call a moto cocho for you at the bar (100 pesos).
2) the moto cocho will take you towards downtown Puerto Plata to where the gua gua (buses) are, by the hospital.
3) take a bus to Sosua for 40 pesos and they will drop you off right in front of the Supermarket and Texaco station.
