Bill change rejected

The Chamber of Deputies has rejected proposed legislation that sought to put the faces of deceased former Dominican leaders on the RD$50 bill. Deputy Carlos Martinez Arango had proposed putting the faces of Jose Francisco Pena Gomez, Joaquin Balaguer and Juan Bosch on the bill but the finance commission rejected the idea.
