I will let those with more visits to Sosua comment on locations, but I would like to be the first to say thanks for your efforts! I wish this map was available 6 months ago. I know the newbies will love it!!!!!!!!!

Nice Job!
FYI, alot of guys stay at the Hotel Europa. If you can fit it in, it is on Pedro Clisante between the HaliGali and Flamingos (Dominos is there also).

Here's some more suggestions:

D'Latinos - diagonally across from D-Classico

M&M Massage, by Banco Popular

Super Super, corner of Ayuntimiento and Pedro Clisante

The Beach! NY Shark Bar, etc.

Judy's is on Ayuntimiento 2 or 3 doors down from Eddies.

Eurpopa is between 4 Roses and Hali ali

One Ocean Place is on Ayuntimeito behind Eddies. Access is off David Stern.

Might be hard to fit it all. Thanks for your hard work!

I thought cowgirl was no more and VIP was the new one next to Rocky's. Maybe but the phone store and the vitamin V & C store on the map.

Thanks of your work NVR! Beach is to the left of Checkpoint (off that no name street that runs diagonally )

For those that don't know, Judy owned One Ocean Place, Judy's Cambio (exchange) and the Cowgirl Bar. She was arrested by the DNCD (DR DEA) last February on suspicion of dealing drugs. I checked out of One Ocean Place the day before it happened. Rumor has it that it was actually one of her employees dealing drugs. I never saw any evidence of drug dealing while I was there. I doubt she was involved, but she did not make a lot of friends in the DR, which probably led to her demise. She was eventually bailed out of jail. I did not know that she had sold or lost her businesses and left the country. It's a shame because we've lost a monger hotel and her cambio had a good rate. But, I doubt she is missed, just ask Marco or Ted at Rocky's what they think of her!

I've heard there is a new club called NV Club on Pedre Clisante at the SW corner or DR Rosen. Can't wait to check it out.

Also anyone remember the name of the whore hotel off Ayutimienito? the name is slipping my mind.

The Palace is to the right of Hali Gali - so you need to move the red spot more to the right :)

For those that don't know, Judy owned One Ocean Place.............It's a shame because we've lost a monger hotel.........

So true, One Ocean in my opinion was the best place to stay. Not right on the strip but a moto ride away. At night with the side entrance open it was great. Sure beats Europa! You can still bring chicas in at night by slipping the guard some pesos but I definitely would not consider it a monger hotel anymore. Best bet now is Club Residencial if you are willing to pay top dollar per night.

Just checking. Things open, close, and re-open so frequently. It's sometimes hard to keep track. When I passed The High Carib in August...it didn't look like it was opening up again any time soon. Too bad, I never got a chance to hang out there.

Taino beach Bar is back Open! On the land side of the unnamed street closest to the ocean at the corner of David Stern.

Haven't been there since it reopened but it was a great 24 hour bar, no chicas, but food available 24 hours, hot bartenders and full of young white women from Casa Marina.

It's acually on the other side (south) of the unnamed street. And NV club is diagonally across the street from where it is (my mistake)

Taino and NV club moved. Ill update map over weekend on site here. I have decided to keep the map name the same so when people view any of them they will all be the most up to date map. This seems better as people will not want to scroll through every post looking for it. I hope in 2 weeks to document this map more throroughly during my visit and take lots of pictures to describe more of these places and make it easier to find them as well. I am planning on walking all the major streets during the daytime at some point during my trip and taking pictures the entire way.

ok guys after 1 visit I have made a few minor changes and also taken a BUNCH of pics of many locations.

The main strip (Pedro Calisante) is about a 15 minute walk from the palace to Maura Mai (cross the street by La Roca and head left and youll be on the beach)

Just up the road a bit is Orange where you can conduct all your orange cell phone business. I used verizon while I was here but lot of people use Orange who seems to give away free phones if you spend a lot of money on their cards. They give you points. Doesnt much matter to me but the locals all get excited when they have enough points for a new free phone.

Right outside the palace across the street is a SMALL grocery store. not much in it but for small in case of emergency soap or a bottle of water it worked

Hope these photos help. The main strip isnt very long. There are a lot of side streets I never really walked on. I did get to Bailys once for dinner which was nice and a little off the main drag near Banco Popular. Maybe next trip I can take more photos of these side streets.

Yea it brings back fond memories! Also at least now some newbies can actually see what these places look like. It helped a shitload having Jimmy around for my first trip. I didnt need my map and notes . First day I wandered the strip and ran into him by nightfall. After that I had the best guided tour you could ask for. Its definitely more fun being there with other people and ones who know their way around is a huge plus. You definitely can survive on your own but being around a veteran saves you a lot of wasted time.

im still missing stuff dammit! This is what I did my second morning. We were all out pretty late eating at PJs my first night. I said im sleeping until about noon nobody wake me. I ended up being away Sunday at 7 in the morning. The streets were dead and I was bored so I took those pics. Not a chica to be found at 7am on a Sunday!

looking at the pics now I cant wait for my next trip in Feb!! Good job, hope you enjoyed the trip.

The unnamed bar across from Harrisons is Hermans. It's a cool place to hang out and watch the world go by, but not really a chica place. Sometimes you can get one playing the slots. Good rock and roll music, and cool bartender.

The place where the wedding was is Campo bar, I've never been there but, am told some Ex-pats hang out there.
