I hate to use mine for this reason. After last month with all the bogus charges on my Visa I try to not use my credit card. If I had not lost all my money like a dumb ass I wouldn't have used it at all.

I think I'm done with BB's for awhile. Don't take me wrong, I love the place, but I have been there so many times. I need a change.

I'm thinking VILLA. No not a room like MrNYC is promoting,because thats all you get is a room. But a full fledged VILLA, on the beach. We happened to run across a woman that has one for rent. $$$ need to be talked about but her initial opener wasn`t bad at all. In fact it was damn good. Problem with this one is that its in Caberette.

I look at it this way, why should 2 people rent a room at or over $50 a night when you can rent an entire private VILLA with a pool for $100.

Just some thoughts that are running through my mind...I know its a small mind so it shouldn`t take long.

i agree! sharing a villa really was the idea but then i though about this whole complex...14 rooms, 2 pools but it may not be ready for us yet :twisted:

lets try and find some villa options around Sosua. most of us seem to like to be close to the strip so walking distance or a short moto away would be best.

i know there'll probably be a few vehicles too but it's not always convenient and i'd like the real option of walking whenever possible.

that's the plan. too bad the a/c isn't already in at the complex...i know how long it takes to get things done in the DR.

funny enough the 8 or 9 days that we'd like to take the place over for would just about pay for the a/c units

just think if they rented to us at $50x14 units = $700 + $65 for the apartment that's $760 USD a night!

that's over $6000 USD for the 8 nights!
