Here is an (edited) PM I received today, plus my response. Maybe some of you other guys can lend your recommendations.

SUBJ: need quick advice pleaseeeeee
..... New Garden fucked up my reservations. (not that it has fuck all to do with you), but was just wondering if you can offer some handy alternatives. I am in town Sept 6,7,8, and leaving on the 9th. But when i called to reconfirm the res they only had me for thurs, fri, and i'm fucked out of luck for Sat. If you have a hot second could you drop me a line and let me no a few other recommendations in the same central location. I know all the other hotels, but i have only stayed at the garden and don't want to end up in a complete shit hole.............................

My reply:

I have not stayed in any Sosua hotels for the last two years (only condos). But if I had to stay in one, it would probably be Club Residential on Calle Pedro Clisante (just past the Europa, but before La Passions).

i directed him to casa cayena since its close to ng and lorenzo or wilfred can probably work it out for him but hes a resourceful guy and will not be homeless one way or the other.

Thanks guys....i tend to get panicked about lil shit like that. And that is why this board is the absolute shit. Good intel...great and helpful members and current and timely posts. Really sad i'm going to miss office manager (AKA flash)..zipping through town headphones, snapshots, and panties in nap sack only pausing to dispense useful info. One other question....reading through the post...has shark bar moved?

The Shark Bar opened in 2003 (I think?) and was originally located at stall #66 on the beach in Sosua.

In Jan 2006, it moved to it's current location in beautiful downtown Sosua, right on that grand boulevard, Called Pedro Clisante.

And as of today when I spoke with Big Lou, it was still there with no plans to move anytime soon. :rolleyes: :D

i reviewed the hotel casa cayena from my stay august 10 - 14, 2007. look for it in the sosua hotel section.

i'd stay there again as a backup to the ng.
