I stayed one night at the Hilton.

The hotel has a special weekend rate of $110 plus 26% tax.

There is still a $30 plus 26% guest-fee.

Nothing has changed at this hotel.

Complimentary breakfast. The hotel serves donuts, muffins, bagels, sausages, hash browns, omelets (the cook will cook it anyway you want), cereal, fresh squeezed juice (orange, watermelon, grapefruit, etc.), milk, fruits, cheese, ham, bacon, toast, etc.

Very nice hotel but a bit overpriced and then there is a surcharge for having a guest over night. :eek: :eek:

I agree with you Hempstead. Which is why I never touch anything from the minibar.

Last year, there was no guest-fee. But beginning in 2007, there was.

I no longer bring a chica to this hotel (since the guest-fee came into effect).

I stayed a night here so that I can gamble at their casino which is located on the 2nd floor. I usually play Blackjack and Roulette. I like to gamble in a quiet environment which is this casino (unlike the Jaragua or the Atlantis).

I won $400 that night so that took care of the hotel fee. :smile:

I agree with you--having a surcharge for a guest is ridiculous.
