Dominican 9-10 year olds have won the XI Pan American Infantil A (9-10 years old) youth baseball competition. The event was held in Santo Domingo on 1-12 September, and is part of the youth tournament organized by the Pan American Baseball Confederation (COPABE), under the International Baseball Federation (IBAF). The Dominican children came from behind to defeat Venezuela in the deciding game. In the previous match against Venezuela, the Dominican team lost 14-3.
