London, Sept.13 : Cuba once saved former President Ronald Reagan's life by tipping off American officials about an assassination plot by right-wing extremists, claims the country's leader, Fidel Castro. astro made this extraordinary claim in a long newspaper essay that was read out on Cuban television in which he argued that his country had co-operated with the US in the past.
