The country's pharmacy owners want to get rid of the Single Prescription Forms (Receta Unica) imposed by the recently launched Family Health Plan (SFS). According to the Pharmacy Union, the group has called on Vice President Rafael Alburquerque to abolish the Single Prescription and allow patients to purchase their medicines from any pharmacy. The Pharmacy Union considers the SFS prescription formula a monopoly that denies patients the freedom to choose.
