One thing about buying booze in USA- if you don't buy locally where you have a receipt showing you paid DR tax (ITIBIS), then when you pay monthly tax on sales you will not be able to deduct tax. Get an accountant to file your paper work.
By the way-Jan 2, cost of Presidente from distributor goes up 5 pesos. Doesn't sound like it is-but it is.

Yea at newark airport hit the duty free store where shit is cheap and tax free! You can ask them the max amount of shit you can buy and they will tell you. You pick the stuff out and pay for it. They keep it for some reason and hand it to you in a bag as you are about to board.Its in sealed bags even.

most countries the legal limit is 1 liter booze, 200 smokes. i bring 2 1.75 bottles every trip, never a problem, i keep a $5 handy

It is illegal to open the duty free booze at the point of departure.. that is prob why they keep it till you board..
