The country's Attorney General Radhames Jimenez Pena and National District prosecutor Jose Manuel Hernandez Peguero have offered an RD$1 million reward for information about the disappearance of university professor and journalist Narciso Gonzalez on 26 May 1994. The AG and prosecutor say that they offered the money because they have run out of leads in the case and haven't seen any progress. Hernandez says that any informants' identities will be protected.
