Scooter Rentals?

Anyone have any info about renting a scooter? Where? How much? How Long?

I think it would be cool to go to PP or Caberete or some of the real small towns this way rather than with taxi or motoconcho.

pretty dangerous imo but many do it.

there is/was a scam where they'd rent it to you and then steal it. you'd be on the hook to replace it.

personally it's way to dangerous for me and the moto concho's are cheap.

i agree with apos on this one.
even though i have my own bike at home the way they drive down there is not worth the risks.
i rented a car from marco for a week at xmas and did my touring then at $20/day. tried to rent a car from the rentals for the next week but they wanted 40/day so i motoconched around town only
