319 Calle Duarte, up the hill from the Palacio. I stayed with two chicas, less than 50 dollars per night.

Accomodations are spare. Kick-ass A/C and functioning plumbing.(Not so at Palacio on my stay.

Right across from the beautiful ruins of the first Spanish church on the island. Purported tomb of ChristopherColumbus.

A great section of town. Close to El Conde and the old City.

Whew dude, you get around. I've never recommended the place because who would find it? LOL
It's not Chris Colon place though, that is at the hugh monument on the other side of the river..
