We drink beer all day which, at least with me, tends to lower my level suspicion. But I did notice a pattern that was curious. Most of the new chicas (the ones you dont see every day) in sosua on the weekends claim to be college/ university students coming to make some money. I have spoken to a few of this chicas and while it seems plausible that they are students I wonder has anyone ever verified the story? You know visited them at school? seen a textbook? :confused:

I have never met a chick in the states that worked as a hooker to make some extra money for school, stripper yes. However in there case wouldn't you make more at the club than in hotel management or IT?

I think like 1/2 these chicks are lying for our sake. So I can tell my friend yeah she was a college chick, I was helping her out with tuition...

I have known a quite a few college girls in the states working as incall/outcall escorts which imho is different then a hooker. But it would definitely have to be in a big city and a big college.

As for making more at a club, sure they would for the next ~5 years maybe if they are lucky, I don't about you but I don't want to pay to fuck some 30+ year old worn out chica or even pay to watch them strip! Whereas with IT or Hotel Management they can work for then 30+ years without beauty concerns.

Well, their definition of 'student' differs quite a lot from ours. I met a girl who claimed she studied English at POP university. I quickly surmized that despite this study she hardly spoke any english. Turns out she had 2 hours of english lessons every friday night. Yes, the lessons took place at the university, but where I am from that would hardly qualify me as a university student :-)......
On the other hand, I know a girl studying law who does go to the university every evening...............

Good point, and I don't think they are necessarily trying to deceive us. It is their perception of "student" which is so different. Anybody who makes any effort to improve themselves in the DR is so untypical that they really do think of themselves as in a different category.

This is probably the closest description to a lot of the chicas. Also a lot of their classes run continuously and they are allowed to show up when they have time so it could take several semesters for them to complete a 1 semester class because they are out whoring more than in class. At first I found it strange when a chica would tell me she could attend her classes when she had time and had no problem taking a few days off to stay in Sosua. After I visited one of the local universities in Santiago a little over a year ago I could finally see how it was possible.

Are they lying. Possibly or possibly they are this swing shift type student. Either way its not the best way to get their education in my opinion.

I hobby stateside and I have met a good amount that escort for extra funds while in school.

Go on cg or bestgfe and you can find them pretty easily. And while some use it as cover, there really are those out there just trying to make ends meet.

I have never been compelled to check on whatever story I am given by a chica or P4P encounter. I ask them things about themselves because it is generally part of common conversation and I do have an earnest desire to know something about people I talk to. I am genuinely interested in peoples human experience.

However, I am no more motivated to verify whether a chica is really a student or just hooking than I am knowing whether the guy sitting next to me at the bar is really lawyer or not just because he says that is what he does for a living in casual conversation. If it makes that person feel good saying it and doesn't affect me; It really doesn't matter to me.

You are right on the money. People will rationalize their actions both good and bad. Most people have no desire to embarass or shatter the image another person has invented or presented of themselves unless they are intimately involved (long term) or wish to be. I guess if a monger were planning to provide ongoing support ($$, WU, Housing, etc.) to said chica then he should be concerned.

I have never considered any of those options.
