There's a thread in the "Rate a Chica" section that's not working properly. The "Nilsa" thread is still showing as "new", even though the last post was in October.

Maybe that has something to do with the move gdogg...

I have tons of threads that are very old that still pop up when I select the new posts module...

WSJ is absolutely correct, it's the moves to new forums.

when i hit "New Posts" the posts i replied to last are excluded from the results i get.

when i hit "New Posts" the posts i replied to last are excluded from the results i get.

New Posts = Unread posts only (you read our own reply so it's not "new" anymore)

As Knotty said use "Today's posts" also Today's post is extremely efficent for the server!
