Well even with detailed cell bills the texts I would get from friends in the DR showed up as 000-000-000 so you could always blame those pesky Viagra spammers everyone gets on their cell phone.

Please note: I only ever gave my number to a couple male friends in Santiago so they could keep me up to date of what was happening down there. Females would get a Hotmail account I set up purposely for them. The ex novia whom I'd met elsewhere and got me to 1st visit the D.R. had a visa and could travel freely to the U.S. any time she wanted. She wasn't asking for money or shit. What she did want was an increasingly codependant relationship and that's a million miles from where we started and I was in mid divorce so it was the last thing I was looking for. This woman was one of the sweetest Chicas I'd ever met and for years we were cool as intimate friends who got together occassionally to enjoy one another's company. She wanted more from the relationship than I was willing to give so I bowed out. I hope she finds that type of relationship but it won't come from me because who I am on vacation is not who I am in real life.

I'll never forget that afternoon when we were locked in embrace after having spent several days excercising our passion.
