Car Rentals in Puerto Plata

Does anyone know of a good place to rental cars in Puerto Plata? Preferably a chain like Avis or National or Hertz in which all I need is a credit card and not have to give up my passport to rent it?

Why dont you just rent from the POP airport they have the major rental companies there already, and set up your reservation here before you get there you get a better deal.

David, i rent from Adventure Rent a Car at POP airport. Gypsy or Jason will be at POP and both speak good english. They only take a copy of your driver licence. If you have a problem with the car they are there ASAP. www.adventurerentcar.com
